Anámesa, a species passed down from generation to generation as a sort of reaper.

These flightless creatures are known to have connections with humans in mysterious ways and so, the species shall be explained in this post.

༻☬Appearance and Links☬༺

Anámesa are a species in which are on another plane of reality only able to be seen by its mirrored self or aka its human, the appearance it takes on is dependent on what the human is like.

When a human is born one of these beings are brought into creation by the childs soul splitting in two, the appearance they take is how all of them start out with no color or distinct features. The creature stays like this until the child has opened its eyes to see the world in which it changes form into the first thing that makes the baby happy, whether a toy or color it takes that form.

After reaching more older stages of the humans life the Anámesa changes its form with it, though tends not to be around thier human much after they've grown more older and become more independent.

If a human is bad and has a tendency to act out, the worse the thing it is they've done, the more twisted and grotesque the Anámesa becomes. When a human is good though the creature takes more of an appearance like that of an angel with halos wings and lighter hues of colors the human likes sometimes even becoming white.

On rare occurrences they stay inside of thier original colorless form if the human either one, dies too early or two, the human shows no interest in anything in life. If the latter happens later in life then the creature will loose color after a while until it is nothing but your former love for the life you once loved. This is a regular case for humans who express suicidal tendencies or even have sociopathy in which leads them down the road to more horrifying appearances due to violent tendencies.

The Anámesa is a creature that is known to lead souls to where they belong after death, taking the form of something they like as comforting Item or color to lead them there though it is said the more grotesque ones are known to drag thier human to hell rather than ascending to heaven.

Although not much is known after death since revival occurrences are rare, these creatures have shown signs of trying to merge with thier human when asked for kids to speak to thiers for answers of what happens.

Recent rumors say that if your Anàmesa doesn't have wings it leads you to purgatory (a place where you fade to nothingness), on account of not being able to fly thier human up to heaven if they weren't good enough in life and is a very common threat amongst parents to keep thier kids in line but this has yet to be proven.

༻☬Patterns☬༺

As you may notice with most Anámesa they have a pattern on the right side of thier body, this is due to what the person is like in life whether liking things such as art which will portray itself in a mess of colors, or even a sort of dragon-esc sort of side which shows you love dragons more than anything.

Although it is speculated they take the form of what you like most there are times it takes form of you line of work, in some cases further back in the mid-evil ages there were some who wore lavish clothes that stood beside thier kings within paintings, others took form with patchwork showing off the persons love for sewing.

With all Anámesa they will have characteristics of the origional mold, though there are two genders which are randomly given.

The male is known to have a much longer face than the females, thier tails covered in spikes, and thier back mane much longer as well as the front chest one.

The females have a fluffy small face with shorter chest fluff as well as the mane in back, its tail lacking the spikes but making up for in height, usually being a little taller than the males and even able to run faster too. Why thier heigh has been chosen has yet to be fount out, but it could have something to do with how they bring us to our final resting place.
