But Kazuaki is one of my favorites too! His route is super duper sad, and the Hurtful Boyfriend route ramps it up to 11, though I haven't gotte a chance to play Holiday Star yet.
YOU NEED TO PLAY HOLIDAY STAR. IT'S REALLY GOOD. BEFORE I PLAYED IT KAZUAKI WAS #2, BUT NOW HE'S ABSOLUTELY #1 IN MY HEART FOREVER AND EVER

oh yeah! The icon was initially made as an imitation of Miwashiba's icons, actually! I'm a pretty big fan of all of Miwashiba's works, though 1bitheart is definitely my favorite!

Same! The characters and development are honestly such a huge inspiration to me! I think my favorite characters would have to be Miumi, Nanashi, and Izuchi! And they've created the Lieat trilogy and Alicemare, both of which are pretty amazing, though 1bitheart is seemingly one of the bigger projects. I think there's 1BeatHeart, a spin off/sequel but I'm not sure it's out in english yet, so I haven't played it.

saME Miumi is so precious and pure, I'd 100% give her some hugs. And Lieat is a trilogy about a lie-eating dragon and her con-artist friend/father figure travelling to different towns and solving mysteries, while Alicemare is about some kids getting trapped in an alice in wonderland-esque nightmare! I checked up on the translation status of 1beatheart just a little while ago, and I think it's translated and playable now!
