By purchasing or otherwise obtaining a design from me, you're agreeing to all of these terms and conditions! If you have any questions or concern, please don't hesitate to contact me about it!
General
🌟 Anyone who intentionally or repeatedly breaks the rules listed here without correction will be placed on a public blacklist where they will be banned from purchasing any more of my adopts or acquiring them via trade.
🌟 I have the right to deny any purchase/trade offer if I've seen the user in question on other blacklists, if I have reason to believe they'll only use my designs as trade fodder, etc.
🌟 Please do not use my designs in hate speech, sexual works containing children, etc. Those who publicly and openly use my designs for these purposes or specifically obtain a design of mine to break this rule may be blacklisted.
🌟 I maintain rights over the design and artwork and am permitted to use it for things such as portfolios. I will not use adopts I've created for commercial purposes or personal use, and the character is entirely yours.
🌟 I love seeing what people do with my designs, so I like being tagged, mentioned, or pinged whenever you make art or write something about them! It's not a rule, though!
Purchasing
🌟 Payment is in USD via PayPal or in dA points via commission widgets.
🌟 When sending payment via PayPal I will send you an invoice, so be prepared to send your PayPal email to me! If you cannot use invoices for some reason, you will be expected to pay via Goods & Services. You are not expected to pay the PayPal fee, and if you send more money than the required amount please leave a note saying that it was a tip so I don't refund you under the impression that you made a typo!
🌟 All sales are final! I will not give out refunds for completed products. If you ask I may buy back an adopt and attempt to sell/trade it again, but I am not obligated to do do.
🌟 If you issue a chargeback, you will be added to my blacklist after three days without receiving contact! If you have an issue, please contact me about it. If your chargeback was accidental, please contact me immediately to avoid being blacklisted.
Ownership
🌟 Co-owning is allowed, but please inform me that you'll be co-owning with someone before purchasing! If you buy the adopt for yourself and choose to co-own later on, please inform me!
🌟 If you receive a design of mine in a trade with me, I will not trade back under any circumstances! I don't trade for or purchase adoptables unless I have a solid idea in mind and have become attached to the design, so I will not be willing to return any adoptable that I acquire. Please be mindful of this before attempting to trade with me!
🌟 Once you've purchased or traded for an adopt of mine, you have full ownership of the character. However, do not claim you created the design and be sure you credit me on any sites you upload them! I need to be credited for the design for at least the first time you draw them and upload them on dA, Tumblr, etc., but I would prefer to be credited each time so I'm able to see what you do with your adopt! You can see which accounts to mention/tag/ping etc. on my main Toyhouse account's profile.
🌟 If I find out you've been claiming that you created one of my adopts and don't correct this and credit me after being asked, you will be immediately blacklisted.
Reselling/Trading/Gifting
🌟 Whenever an adopt of mine changes hands, you must inform me of who the new owner is! Please make sure the new owner is aware of my Adopt TOS, as well.
🌟 You may resell any adopt you purchase from me, but only for the price you purchased it for. You can only add on to the price if you've received commissions of the character, in which case you can add the price of each commission on to the resell price. You may not use art you've drawn or art you obtained for free to inflate the price.
🌟 You may trade any adopt you obtain from me.
🌟 You may gift any adopt you obtain from me.
🌟 If you received an adopt of mine from a trade with me you may only trade or gift it, not resell it. If you're no longer interested in the adopt but are having issues trading it and feel it could find a home if you were allowed to resell, please contact me and we can discuss something!
🌟 If you received an adopt of mine from another user via trade or gift, you may only trade or gift the adopt and not resell it, as you would be making profit off of my work instead of simply getting back the money you spent. If you're having a similar issue to the above bullet point, please contact me so we can discuss it and work something out.
Editing
🌟 Once you get an adopt from me, you're welcome to change their design as you wish so long as it remains somewhat recognizable! As in, don't just adopt a design from me because you liked the hairstyle and then change everything else.
🌟 You can use the adopt's art to create icons, banners, etc.
🌟 You can edit/recolor the adopt's artwork to reflect changes you've made to their design, but only with my permission! If uploading to Toyhouse, you must also keep the original version in your character's gallery. If you do not wish to keep the original version in their gallery for any reason, please contact me about it so we can discuss it!
Reposting
🌟 You may upload the adopt's original artwork to sites like Toyhouse, Charahub, etc. Please credit Isoprene for the artwork and IsoAdopts as the creator!
🌟 You may not repost the adopt's original artwork to sites like deviantART, Tumblr, Twitter, etc. I never take things down from my dA or delete art posts on Tumblr or Twitter, so if you wish to bring attention to them I'll give you a link that you can share, reblog, or retweet.
🌟 If I do not create a post about the adopt on Tumblr or Twitter and you wish to share them on those sites, please contact me so I can either create a post for you or give you permission to repost with credit.
Commercial Use
🌟 You may not use the adopt's original artwork for commercial purposes under any circumstances. Artwork you've created on your own or commissioned is subject to the following rules:
🌟 You may use your adopt for commercial works such as games, but you must contact me and discuss this with me first!
🌟 You may not sell merchandise of your adopt such as prints, keychains, stickers, etc. without my permission and clear consent. You can make these things for personal use or for friends, but you may not mass produce them and sell them, such as at conventions or in your personal store.
🌟 If someone commissions you to draw an adopt of mine you've obtained (whether it's the character alone or with other characters), that's fine and you don't need to contact me about it at all (though I'd still love to see the finished product)!
