Adventures in Curses
A modern day world with magic, castles, ruins, and- oh yeah! Curses.
There are magical beings aplenty, from half-bird people, to part sharks, to whatever this nerd is. Some of these come from curses, but most of them come from other magical beings. There are so many hybrid species now that it's almost uncommon to find 100% pure species. Don't worry, though, if anyone is half or part something, that usually means that there is a humanoid-looking parent that would be considered a full version of whatever their child is part of.
