So AF's 2021 teams have been revealed, and it's...steampunk vs. cyberpunk.  Two glances over my OCs could probably tell you which one I'm picking, lmfao.  (Not that you can't do friendly fire, I'm just probably going to focus on attacking back first rather than responding to it.)

My bio is here!  Tried to make it a little more thorough.  Gonna try to upload some more OCs before July.  Thinking of permissions is hard...I keep using the section like "design notes" instead and keep thinking of like 30 different things to say about an OC's clothes or presentation.........................

I have energy to tackle Toyhouse again, so this time I'm going to try and upload more characters to my misc folder.  I have a lot of OCs that are just like, for roleplaying or whatever...I really like their designs, but because I don't have a lot I can show or tell about them, I feel self-conscious uploading just tiny little two-sentence profiles 🤪

I don't know why I'm a big stickler when it comes to TH stuff??  A lot of people just upload a couple pictures and no profile info and then it's done.  Perfectionism is hard to shake...

But I'm going to try and give it a go.  I want to show off some weirder OCs!  Stay tuned??

It's my old webcomic's 10th anniversary today, and I kinda left it off on an abrupt note when I originally cancelled it, so today I amended that and dropped a big anniversary post.  It includes a 4k wallpaper I'll be uploading here to TH next.  Enjoy!

So a new art-focused social media app just launched...

Unsure if I'm super committed to this place yet, it has a lot of launch-based server lag and so I've uploaded nothing yet.  But it looks promising, and I've been dying to find a place to talk about OCs that isn't Tumblr.  A LITTLE frustrated that it's just an app so far (they've promised a web app, but that's future stuff, not current), but Pillowfort is the only other alternative I can think of right now and they've been dropping the ball with their launch too...so I'm kind of desperate for anything here.

When I start uploading on Artfol I intend to do old stuff first in order to round out my account.  If you're on there, freel free to say hi!

Okay.  So like.  I have several alignment memes and the like that feature a good number of my OCs.  Like at least a dozen at a time.  And as such I feel weird about uploading them and tagging all the characters since that's a load of pings at once to my subscribers for just one meme image and I'm self-conscious about being annoying lmfao??

I'm not sure what actually sends out a ping...if I upload it as hidden, tag all the characters, and then make it public, will it not ping?

If I upload it to one character and add all the others in an edit, will it not ping for the added characters??

I know some people have a separate "character" that's like a meme image gallery and whatnot but I don't really like doing that because I'd like all my submitted characters to be characters.

Here they are!  With this I finally got to post most of the art I've been drawing like, this past year, haha.

GMing has been a wild ride...I hadn't ever done it before.

I gotta get back to the Rixile mortals next, but ughhh I want to find a better way to organize all the information in their bios...

I am finally getting my act together regarding posting character bios for NPCs from my JJBA-inspired ongoing tabletop campaign...

watch this space because there's going to be a bit of art spam soon.  they're like all I'm drawing nowadays.

I currently technically have the bios, they're just set to private...for some reason I'm super self-conscious about having half-done bios so I only start making them public and posting art once there's something of substance actually there.  🤷

Alright so...I started doing bios for the mortal cast of the Rixile story I have in mind.  All their basic info is there, so you might wanna check it out!

However...I made the foolish decision to go "fuck it" and elaborate on all the story plot beats within them.  So then they kinda turned into story summaries as well.  A lot of things that happen to the characters in the story are important to who they are, so it kinda just...went hand in hand?

So I started doing spoiler sections.  Those are still WIP, because I started noticing to make sense of them you're going to need to read other characters' bios.  So now it's this big choose your own adventure spoiler mess!!!  And it's not even done yet!!

AND THEY'RE ALREADY WAY LONGER THAN ANY BIO I'VE DONE BEFORE AFDSHFSDG

I'll probably figure out a way to condense it all later so you don't need to go reading every character bio to understand every other character but aaaaaaaa.  For now I think it's best to just vomit my thoughts into text and figure out a better way to say it all after the fact............
