Knowledge is Power Academy

It is the fall of 2015 in Augusta, Georgia, and a group of 7th-grade rebels has just gotten away with vandalizing their middle school's property again. The main artist Khalil, a bit in over his head, wants to continue their streak by spray-painting the brick wall where the car riders stand outside the school. The group skips their classes, meets at the wall, and gets to work. Little did they know a wrench would be thrown into their plans when a teacher unexpectedly approached the school from the parking lot. The kids scrambled for cover, leaving Khalil in the open with all the paint cans. In his escape attempt, Khalil trips, and all the cans clatter to the pavement revealing himself to the teacher. They suspended him immediately and placed him in a disciplinary tribunal to determine his fate in the school system.

After looking at Khalil's lackluster grades and class attendance on top of the vandalism, the administrators were quick to expel him and fine his mother for the damages. In defense of her son, Khalil's mother desperately pleaded for some alternative school he could attend instead. Mercifully, the administrators gave Khalil a re-entry plan, albeit a strict one. He must attend the prestigious Knowledge is Power Academy. This school is known for having a strong focus on studies, a student body that excels academically, and an unconventional way of learning that excludes traditional exams and a grading system. Khalil must graduate from the academy without any problems if he wants to rejoin his middle school peers and avoid burdening his mother with a hefty fine.
