Daniel’s second death was an accident, he fell trying to jump between the roofs of two buildings and landed on a fence post. He bled out and woke up in the morgue. He was still only 17.

Daniel only gains a scar upon a death unless the damage wouldn't scar (e.g., poison, drowning). They are permanent reminders of each death he has been through.
