Hello everybody! I know its been awhile since you have heard from me. I have been working as a colorist for a friend of mine's shop called 'Spirit of the North'. The shop is run mostly on discord but it started on gaiaonline. The shop is based around horses (not a closed species or anything) and includes all your usual mythic creatures, like unicorns and pegasus. The shop focuses a lot on breeding!
I wanted to shamelessly advertise for the shop to all of you and invite you to come join us!

Hello everyone, I hope you had an excellent holiday and happy New Year. I know I haven’t been around much in the adoptables scene. I have been busy working on university stuff. Things are not going exactly how I planned. COVID has really put a damper on everything, including my mental health. nothing serious or anything, just a lot of self reflection and ‘what do I want to be when I grow up?’. I know I haven’t been very happy or enthusiastic about my current situation (working on a PhD) and my results on some of my stuff has shown. I think I am tired of school, tired of tests and studying things I am not passionate about. believe me I have tried to suck it up and do it for the money, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I have an option to downgrade my PhD to another Masters which is what I am thinking about doing. I don’t really want to be a professor or a manager of people. I have seen how these people work and the responsibilities they have, and it’s just not for me. I want to be working on projects among other employees. I like doing lab work and collecting samples instead of being in charge. Unfortunately, it pays less, but maybe I would be happy? I dont know, this is my current dilemma.
So, yeah that is why I haven’t been around much. Lots going on in my brain at the moment. I have also been running low on funds, buying stuff to fill a void I guess. :( Which is part of the reason I have come back. I want to start drawing again, doing commissions, selling/trading art/characters. That stuff makes me happy.
Thank you to all of my online friends, I haven’t forgotten about you. Your support in the past has always meant a lot to me. I miss you guys! <3
