These deities make up the uppermost echelon of the pantheon, directly beneath the abstract creators of Light and Dark (which no longer tangibly exist in the universe). Supreme Deities are responsible for maintaining the fabric of the realms, as well as the way in which the greater world behaves. They do not often intermix with mortals or leave their main realms. If they do, the state of the realms may have been thrown from balance and is in dire straits.
Ancillary Deities, similarly to the Supremes, are also responsible for managing the realms; however, their actions affect the world on more micro-levels (although still majorly) and are limited by certain realms. They upkeep the various rules of how the Material Plane in particular functions. Many Ancillary Deities do not interact with mortals personally, but they are not as cut off and solitary as their superiors. Thusly, it is common to find nymphs and demimortals who have been born from any Ancillary Deities walking among the planes.
Ancillary Deities are also broken up into another sub-tier, referred to as the "Prime Deities" category. These Deities, while perhaps not as powerful as the upper tier of Ancillary, they were major players in the Divine War of the Primordials, Eldritch, and the Exiled Ones. They also interact with mortals more regularly than their superiors.
Minor Deities, also known as Localized Deities, are a collective of gods whose roles are often sequestered to only small clusters of geographical locations or their influence is scattered to small groups of worshippers. Their influence is not often major and they tend to emerge into godhood from the wishes of mortals rather than because of the realm's need. However, some Minor Deities' influence may become greatly popular depending on their domain, tenets, and worshippers.
