Catri loves him, plain and simple. Sure, their first meeting could've been different and better, but to stop Kaede from becoming something he couldn't undo? Catri wouldn't change their first meeting for the world, especially since it gave him the sweetest man in the world.
Catri brought him back from the brink of doing something irredeemable, something that would've made him a complete monster in actions alone. He feels as if he owes Catri the world, and quite easily worships the ground Catri walks on.
Alpie has always found her sibling Entropy weird, and not just because of their name. They're aloof and quite frankly a little crazy, so Alpie chooses to keep her distance, even more-so than with the rest of her family.
Though half-siblings, Entropy views Alpie as a cousin at best. Alpie has always been distant with her family, and Entropy had never wanted to deal with disant--so they don't. They leave Alpie to her own, busy enough with their own life to not care much.
He hated her at first for taking him from the only world he knew. But as he grew closer to his classmates, he realized... he didn't need to be a hero anymore. His peers had that covered just fine.
Twi saw a young teen struggling to be the savior of a ruined world. Was it any question as to taking him away from those who would condemn him as a messiah?
The dangers with normalcy is that you just don't expect it to change. Uver had loved Raven for one hundred long years. They had cared for her wounds, they had helped her clean, they had loved her so hard that every time she hunted a new monster, it hurt. When Raven was late after hunting a griffin, they didn't worry until the hours stretched on and they had the feeling, "this is it. this is the time."
And, it was. They took her medallion and swords as homage, and continued to fight beasties in her name, with a vengeance that bordered on self-destructive.
He knew that their time together was limited; the path of the Witcher was not without its extreme dangers. Still, he did not love Uver like every day was his last. He loved them like every day was the first time he fell in love with them, and knew that anytime things got dicey, he just had to think of them and he would get a second wind, ready to be brought back home.
A second wind doesn't always mean a second chance, and his last thoughts were that of his love.
He thinks Rydrith is a great friend with great drinks; he's a constant in this new and strange world and Hummus appreciates him being there.
They wonder why Rydrith is constantly trying to kill them and Hummus, but Hummus seems to like him, so A'gon figures they can trust Rydrith, if no one else in this ashy land.
Knowledge of the timeline does not go away easily; even hundreds, thousands, of timelines later, Cele still gets echoes of lives she can't quite remember. At the center of it, is a child that looks so much like Merlin that ne has to be her child, and thus, Cele's child as well. She wishes she could meet nem one day.
Mordred met her once and exactly once in all of ne's time loops. In it, ne hugged ne's mother-like figure, spreading the disease that is time loop knowledge. When she went mad with the knowledge, Mordred restarted the timeline at once, choosing to observe ne's mother at a distance.
Merlin created nem to help a friend in need, and never knew nem in another timeline since.
Mordred considers Merlin a distant family figure that ne'd never want to meet face-to-face. Ne thinks she is self-centered and uncaring for anything except magical theory progress.
dear god get this thing away from me
Adabrio is like a father to nem, after all this time. Still, ne's chaotic nature makes nem prone to wanting to toy with his life in the worst ways, despite being an anchor made to help him.
Adabrio's love for Voa transcends the timelines; even when he doesn't quite remember them, he will do anything to assure their safety.
In the beginning, Voa saw a cursed man heading down a terrible life, and thought that they could spare him of this life, as is the Seer's curse. Falling in love was a happy accident, but dying was not. In the subsequential time loops, Voa saw more and more confusing things with his man that drew them back again and again, and felt a love that didn't quite feel like their own towards him.
Selena was his firstborn; his daughter who was taken too soon. He spent the best six months of his first life raising and caring for her, even when she grew a year for every month. In the winter, she burned long and hot until she burned no more, and Adabrio was forced to bury her.
She doesn't remember Adabrio, or the first few months of her life, but if she did, perhaps she would be ashamed of what she was doing.
