Alexandrite Kingdom

A kingdom that resides deep within the caves of the planet. The buildings in the kingdom of constructed from crystals and rocks. Despite that they are deep underground, the kingdom is actually not is dark as someone might think -there are thousands of glowing crystals throughout the cavern that they call home, and those crystals light up enough for them to see quite well.

The other kingdoms don't know of the existence of this kingdom, and this kingdom doesn't know about the other kingdoms either. In fact, most of the residents aren't aware that the land above the ground exists, except for a rare few. The few that do know are forbidden to let the others know, for the sake of their 'safety.' The kingdom has been there for so long that most of the residents who have been to the aboveworld have died out already. The royalty knows of the existence of the aboveworld, but only because each generation has passed down the weight of knowing this onto the next generation of royalty.

There are many strange and dangerous creatures that live throughout the caverns that this kingdom calls home, but, over many generations, they have learned how to cope with these dangers.

The queen of this kingdom is Queen Morganne. There is currently no king, princes, or princesses. The royalty of this kingdom is different than most kingdoms. Unlike most royalty which is chosen by blood relation, the current king or queen chooses who the next king or queen will be. Most of the time it is a relative, but sometimes it is not.

This kingdom does not appear in Neverlasting, nor is it even briefly mentioned. There will be another story featuring this kingdom, though the name of this story along with most of its plot is currently undecided.
