Closed Species: A species only obtainable through MYO Events, adoption, and/or other means deemed acceptable by the Creator. Usually, these species include unique traits that differentiate themselves from other OCs such as magical abilities and specialized markings/physical attributes. You cannot create an OC of this species without explicit permission.

Open Species: A species that has been made available to the public for anyone to create, trade, and/or adopt. You do not need a “license” to make your own OC, though some restrictions such as appearance and status may be put into place to avoid over-powering or giving your character traits that are specifically reserved for a select few individuals.
