Ok, so I've been asked several times over the last few weeks and months why I can't take PayPal, Venmo or anything besides Cashapp ( a friend asking me a bank question earlier today made me feel the need to post this)
And I feel shitty for saying that I keep having troubles with it, because I'm not.
I live in a very abusive household where my parents are in complete control over everything I do. I am a full grown adult with my own life, yet since I live under their roof, everything I own is, and I quote, "their's."
I often have my things taken and gone through, my devices kept, being told im not allowed to leave the house etc etc.
This also means that they have full control over most my paycheck and my bank account. I am not allowed access to my PayPal, my Venmo (its frozen anyhow), my Bank card, or make any online purchases without their direct permission.
Sometimes I get to use them here and there if my mom is in a good mood, but that's like once every bluemoon.
Cashapp is the one app that I am allowed to have and it's tied to a family account with my mom's. I'm not even allowed to touch my own Cashapp card unless I ask lol
It fucking sucks /srs
I know some people have also had these experiences in their lives, and I hope anyone also dealing with this gets out of their situation.
I plan on moving out in September (I had plans to before, but my boyfriend dumped me LMAO), so hopefully then I will be able to take other payment methods.
But as for right now, I cannot take anything besides that (unless paid through a friend)
Im sorry for continuously saying that I couldn't take it doing to my account being on hold, PayPal issues etc, but I felt embarrassed to explain my true reasoning..

I hate doing these. Fucking despise them. But recently I had major issues with a user @ChaoticCoyote.
TLDR; this user agreed to a trade, decides to back out on our agreement because a 'friend said so', accuses me of disrespect, then blacklists me so they can get out of a tradeback.
Mind you, I have never EVER had issues with this person before.
So, for starters, about a little over a month ago I traded an oc for one of theirs. At the time, I was still very connected to my half of the trade and asked for this OC to be on tradeback.
Though, also on my end, I have had several issues with tradebacks on the other user's (not ChaoticCoyote, just past users) end due to people wanting the OC back for free. But I also have an issue with keeping tradebacks on my end due to the fact I have a unstable paycheck that could leave me broke sometimes. And if I need to sell ocs to get that money, I can't sell ones on tradeback.

Yes,the OC I got from them i sold 11 days later. I gave them first dibs as we had agreed, but took someone else's offer due to needing funds asap. I even contacted the new owner asking for ChaoticCoyote to be on first dibs if they lost interest.
Now fast-forward to yesterday. I notice the OC i traded them was taken off tradeback, so I commented asking for it to be re-added. Mind you, I was polite about this. Proof of that is below.

This conversation goes on for awhile and eventually they give me the ultimatum that I need to tell them why I didn't agree to their side of the tradeback and they'll add me back to Tex (the OC i traded them). Proof of that below.

I thought it was all said and done. That the situation was over with and I went about my day. I wasn't even going to post this until they decided to take it a step further. Screenshot of the message i received today below.

My main assumption at this point was so that they can remove the tradeback in spite.
But here I am, at a loss because I still was connected to the OC I traded them. I even messaged them sometime between the original trade and a week ago to try and offer for him back.
I hold nothing against them and I will not be blocking or blacklisting them. I just want to warn potential customers of theirs.
Please do not witchhunt this person as they are a minor and I understand the feeling of being a teenager. But as an adult now, I can see how petty someone of that age can be.
Eventually I would like to make up with this user as I appreciated and like their artwork and how nice they seemed in most situations. This just was an unfortunate experience for both parties.
