Setting: 2007. Neither, Illinois

Synopsis: Rhea Irving disappears, and her absence leaves a hole that refuses to be filled. While trying to find her, her sister Juno follows her traces through the city, encountering others she's left her mark on. Meanwhile, Rhea's former friend and protege is left to pick up the pieces - now that she's gone, Antonin has to take care of organizing the Waywards on his own, changeling kids like him that have been failed by their families, communities and the world. At the same time her old college friend, a police officer named Berkovich, picks up the case of her disappearence, and bites off a little more than he can chew.
