This entry is a tribute to my friend computerwar for the wonderful years I've had with him, but through our characters.
You never know what every day is going to be like when you wake up in the morning. The same thing applies to my job.
Due to our quick thinking and heightened awareness, we were able to stop a disaster from occurring at my job! It was quite an interesting experience, but it's not one that the company would like to see a repeat of.
Today was an interesting day that ended in quite a very messy, but very sweet accident.
Today I the train engineers got to see the phrase "Haste Makes Waste" applied to our job. Sometimes it is best if we do things slowly instead of rushing to get our job done.
I was just finishing my shift and returning back to the roundhouse to leave my train. On my way back, I noticed a guy and his truck stuck in a ditch next to the tracks! I decided to help him with a very unorthodox means of rescue, but I'm just glad that it worked!
Today was Mexican Independence Day and my mom came to visit me today! A lot happened in such a short amount of time that I nearly forgot that she comes only once a year!
