It's my flag for my pride as a two-spirit but I don't mind anyone else using it of course, I love the other two-spirit flags out there but this is what resonates with me the most 💞 I am slowly becoming more open about being two-spirit and it's been something that really makes me feel right.

Book 5, Overcoming Adversity has nearly caught up to Straight to Video in length at 83K words! I am in the second to last chapter + last chapter and then I'll be having it copy-edited and sent to my beta readers while I work on the illustrations c: I am so dang excited! It's happening and it should be a normal length book YAY!

I missed my MRI appointment so that's going to be in June now because I am a fool SKJFNSKJNFK I took the day off for it and everything and still missed it. SO a bit of a wait to find out what's going on with my liver yet, but I have been improving a lot. Turns out my record says I have Suspected Anthrax which tracks when I visited Canada during an outbreak so I am now blaming that for all my liver problems and am just grateful I'm alive c': I love my doctors so much for never telling me that in 2023 but OH WELL THAT'S JUST THE WAY IT IS.

I've been busy working on my house and my mom's. This month I planted two dozen strawberry plants, bell peppers, jalapeño peppers, marigold, tomatoes, mowed over 2 acres of grass :'))) and next on the list is TREES aw yeah.

OMG what a month and it's not even over yet 😭 April showers bring May flowers, though, right?

So a month and a half of therapy/counseling and chiropractor appointments have been bomb, they're bi-weekly which is really nice 👀 I also am getting my liver taken seriously and getting an MRI scan for it before I start on medicine to help heal the scar tissue and bring my inflammation levels down! I am so so excited things are getting done for it! My levels actually have improved from my last appointment in November, but we're taking the next step on recovering my health and it's awesome. 

I also realized how much I really like this job I have (almost for 3 years now!) because an opportunity came up that paid better and in a less stressful environment, but I realized I just wanted to stay here where I am now. That in itself kind of made me feel a lot better about where I work and also knowing there's other places I can go if anything happens. I continue to learn more art mediums and crafting skills and it's awesome! I even made a draft of a little Radio paper doll I might make a template for and do the rest of the mandatory kitties with...

As for book 5, Overcoming Adversity, I got it to 70K words! (Book 1 was 72k!) I am so excited. I really am hoping to finish it soon. I'm working on the last three chapters and everything seems to be falling into place. It has been a story that I've conceptualized so long as an outline that it really is just putting the words down on the paper. I really want to go all out on the illustrations, but I also want to get the book out. I am trying to decide what would be better; a bunch of illustrations, or just getting the book published and released. I am definitely going to be changing the style though and not have a ton of illustrations in one picture though because a lot of people are completely unable to see what's going on in them anyway, so heads up in advance the illustrations and headers are going to be "simpler" than the previous books.

For my irl stuff, my new sub-floor is all finished that I got a quote for last log, I have my AC unit entirely installed now, and I have a brand new roof! The roof cost me 10K total and as I'm writing this I owe $7.5k toward it 😨 I am still deciding if this home is worth it but I am honestly having fun with getting things repaired and restored. A hundred year old house for this part of the country is pretty rare and I know of everyone who has owned it so it feels important to me. It was a business before it was a home too, so I have been considering making it a storefront and buying the lot next door XD I know I said last log that I was going to invest in a phone but no the storms ensured I invested in the roof first instead KJSNFKJSNFF

Even after over 10 years it's cool there's peeps willing to be part of the sequel and quite a few others in it were some of my first 200 subs I've known for over a decade too so Q__Q <333 SOBBING IT'S SO NOSTALGIC AND I am so excited for the finished product already T__T Writing this made me go look up some of the old participants too so I do like how it's encouraged me to check out how everyone's doing and how much has changed over the years.

HELLO fellas I am back for my March monthly log yay yay owo THIS ONE I RAMBLED IN I apologize in advance.

This month has been stressful but also is breezing by so fast. What do you mean we only have one week left of March?

I am excited to announce I'm finally back in ✨ therapy ✨ and also getting a chiropractor for the first time, ooooh. I had some x-rays done and it turns out my hip on one side is higher than the other and my neck is misaligned and angled to the point I have 3 bowling balls of pressure on my neck so that'd explain part of the headaches 😢 So here's to a year of getting that straightened out! I had some training this month and I feel like I'm dealing with work better. It's all one day at a time. It's still my dream job so I am there for the foreseeable future? As much as I miss drawing kitties full-time, it's just the place for me. I mean heck, I have a paid off house and a paid off car and got a second house just to keep me busy (and because it was conveniently on sale and in walking distance from my work hehehehehe) and as much as I made a living from my art...I by no means lived as lavishly as I do now. It's a dream! 🤗 Any time I go out I get compliments on my shoes or my jacket and it makes me feel like I'm a million bucks, it's so dang fun just dressing the way I want and being silly and fun like I've never been before. I have an eggman jacket that I sport and it makes me spot all the Sonic fans in the room wherever I go. It's glorious. 

As for my new year resolutions, I did not do my monthly goal of livestreaming again. I am really upset at myself I failed ya'll 😭 I am not giving up but January and February I botched it so maybe one of these upcoming months I'll do two streams in one month. I HAVE this block that makes me hold back but also I'll be real, my new house has slower internet and I'm embarrassed and afraid I'll be bringing back that 1 minute stream delay or crashes I...made my poor viewers quite familiar with back when I'd stream at my parents house WAAAAA X"DDDD

I did get book 5 up to 67k words (book 1 was 72K words) so I'm thinking my streams might be working on the illustration and back cover...we shall see. I have 3 chapters left and then I'll be looking for more proof-readers, beta readers, copy editing, content editing. I'll probably steamroll that process while I'm making the illustrations. I'm stoked!

After that it'll just be book 6 and the book series shall be complete... MHMHMHMHM DELICIOUS.

I got a quote for my upstairs to have all the floorboards leveled and precisely aligned and sanded and that's my next move for my new house. Having a new thermostat is so fancy, I can adjust the temp on my phone and with the new power box I have double the power that my house needs so I never have to worry. I also checked out the other dent in the HVAC and it didn't burst open so I AM LEAVING IT, we are good... no more giant holes to repair. As for the community group I mentioned last log, I actually already dropped the ball on that and totally forgot so I am really glad I still log my thoughts here to stay on top of things so I'm gonna invest more time into them before the month is over, too. I need to share more just to keep myself on track ROFL. 

I've been thinking my next personal investments will be a new phone since I keep hearing about really cool ones I want to look into... (Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5... looks over at longingly) as I am a usually $200 for a phone max person and I think it's time to change that. Not only that but the internet services are bringing fiber to my neighborhood, so I am hoping maybe I won't have the slow internet for long? things be in the horizon...definitely a thing I want to consider later in the year.

As for animation projects I did get a video out this month YAY so I am glad I'm keeping busy on that front. Slowly but resuming progress on videos and it's bringing me some joy and whimsy I haven't had in a long time. Something about probably liking the projects I'm working on a lot. They're wrinkling my brain and making me try new things again. I'm liking what I've got so I hope you all will, too. This one is more a filler than anything to give you guys something while I'm working on the big stuff but it got me to shade and do backgrounds again so I am happy. I ended up using the still frames as an opportunity to get more refs done on Caffeinial so it was nice to get more peeps updated there, as well. Two birds with one stone YAAY

Currently I'm still working on model sheets for the main three and I'm really liking them so far.

Radio's is the only one that's done so far but Pictures is getting there and Video is one angle done! Each side of hers takes up a whole ref sheet size help me she's such a mega sized kitty ;w; Curiosity is going to be the same way since he's as big as Video and I'm trying to make the model sheets to scale with one another. It's worth it though, I really like how they're looking and I'm doing them in Clip Studio Paint instead of Flash so they're higher quality c:

I have SO many projects. Check is done, Closer is mostly lined, Spit it Out went on the back burner for a bit but I redid Plug's ref yesterday so I can work on it again, and then the Darkest Hour stuff is being poked at but lately I've been working on a toony video and collab video again that just makes my brain go brrrr so I honestly have no idea which one will come out next. I keep flopping between projects and working on a big project at work so it's eating up my time, but each one is getting progress done so it's good in the end with my short attention span to have multiple things to nibble at. Hopefully I'll have something awesome out for April! Things are happening and I am excited to share good news! I hope all of your year is going well so far, too! Next month or possibly May before my birthday on the 16th I'm thinking of entertaining offers on my guys again, but for now it's been fun feeling so much more organized and having an easier time focusing on my stories.

HIYA FELLAS, I am all tidying up here and having so much fun again playing with my OCs YAAAY 🎉🎉🎉

I moved over all the Mandatory fellas to Caffeinial, so if you enjoy seeing those updates, that's the place to be! I planned on doing it after all my Heart of Glass designs were updated, but I ended up just going through with it right away and organizing it all month of January and bits of February and it's taken such a load of stress off on me. I can now really focus on it with a magnifier while also be able to look at my other characters without being distracted by the couple hundred of fellas exclusively in Strong Hearts Are Mandatory KASJFSKJFNF Since I'm two books away from finishing the series this should be their last and final revamps which is a big yay c: I also made a new reference sheet style I absolutely LOVE that I'll be doing for the mains _{or maybe everyone} but that sounds like murder.   I also got all my socials changed over to Caffeinial except for dA but euUGHHhhhH you have to buy core for that and I GLARE at them loathingly. So now @Caffeinial is my display case of Mandatory, this (you are here!) is my toy box where I play house and make my dolls kiss JK JK, and then my closet bin of OCs are at Sato ! Still beloved, but put away for a bit. During my move over to Caffe for Mandatory I really got to sort out who needed new refs, who needed minor revamps, and the ones who needed entire re-hauls, and those old designs were moved over to Sato in case maybe someone else can give them a home down the line. I don't take offers unless it's been 3 months now if I can help it, which makes me really try and focus on giving my guys a role.

I also REALLY need to finish book 5 so I can publish it by April 😭 but that requires discipline, and focus, and I gotta make myself do it, so stay tuned. 

BUT as for my house, I have EXCITING news that my power box is finished, too! On top of that, I got a new furnace and new AC unit >:3c THINGS ARE GETTING FANCY NOW I got the hole in my HVAC replaced...only for my mom to mention there's another one my brother stomped on (accident) and I WEEP so almost there. After the new shelves installed in my living-room I've now decided I want to paint that room as well now so let's hear it for a new coat of paint on ONE MORE ROOM hEEELLP... I also rejoined an old community group I stepped away from for YEARS that's all about indigenous gardening and food sovereignty so I am so excited to be part of my local area again and think it's really going to end up giving me an opportunity to learn and grow my art and skills even more!

HEY guys, I've been giving my TH and stories big thoughts about organizing; new year, new approaches!

First log of the year so I'm STOKED. Thank you all for the incredible offers on my bulletin I got to rehome a lot of OCs and obtain some fellas I really really love and am excited about.

So those keeping an active eye on things might have seen me throw about 600+ OCs over to Sato so I could focus more on my stories and not feel overwhelmed all the time.

It was a good trial run; I REALLY like having it as a storage place, but I wasn't feeling fulfilled as organized as I want to be, but I realized that I still liked having tons of OCs here, but really wanted to make Strong Hearts Are Mandatory a focus and the things didn't go hand-in-hand. 

SO THAT'S when I got a really big idea, making Mandatory an exclusive toyhou.se since it's my baby and only published story and ABOUT TO have FIVE OF its own novels.

SO I DID IT, it is ONLY started, so it is REALLY under construction, but if you guys are interested in watching Mandatory's references get updated and organized and pretty, you can watch the process over at Caffeinial ! I'm slowly going to be moving all my Mandatory guys over there, but not until I get everyone updated and revamped for Heart of Glass first, and it'll be a book by book process so I actually give each book the love and dedication it deserves this year.

This made me SO happy and I finally have a spot for everything, so now we got three locations you can enjoy, here for my toybox using toyhouse as intended, Caffeinial for my portfolio and organization of the Mandatory universe, and checking out Sato 's fellas for storage of my characters I don't have active ideas for! 

The only thing is RIGHT NOW a ton of folders are going to be moved, reorganized, and resorted, so consider this place REALLY under construction QwQ My goal is to have it all reorganized by February.

I think with this I will be able to really enjoy the best of both worlds and be able to focus on my in-production stories and in-progress story, I'll eventually move Obligatory there once I start writing that again (rn it's sitting at 50K words in a corner waiting for me to finish Mandatory) and then probably the same with Celebratory, or whatever gets official content, etc.

So this account will have everyone non-mandatory and soon more fellas I realized I missed, Sato will still have a bunch ofc, and then Caffeinial which is my primary username will have my really official in concrete stuff. I'm pretty excited c:

As for real life stuff, I got my fuse box upgraded to the breaker box finally, and I'm getting quotes for the upstairs so I can fix that up, but not before getting my HVAC system replaced 🥺 I painted another wall in my room, and learned I have to replace the older but not ancient windows as well 😭 I knew this thing would be a fixer-upper so I'm not too shocked, but it's giving me a lot of perspective on what goes into house maintenance. So current plan is HVAC replacement/air conditioner installation, and now painting the kitchen 👏 I honestly love the house though and making it into my dream home has been such an adventure, as well as restoring a 100 year old home into a modern vibe but still grandfathering all the crazy stuff that comes with the space in.
