I don't like anything of it going past pg-13 of any sort and keeping it pg if possible with the exception of violence since, well, cats eat other things and fight each other naturally a lot 🐱 🌿 excessive swearing and explicit sexual content makes me disengage immediately and usually ends with blocking.
In Media animals have to be able to endure harsh winters (6-12 inches of snow, etc.) or somehow manage to stay inside for half the year to not deal with the elements. ❄🌨⛄
I don't mind them interacting with the canon characters, but I don't really like FCs made to be relatives of Video, Phantascope, or their family. They're very personal characters to me so spouses, shipping, family, other relations of FCs to them make me uncomfortable. ❌😥 I don't mind them having friends or enemies or acquaintances though!

No I haven't broken down any of the lore of the symbols yet in the books. It's more like extra trivia since I didn't make the books illustration heavy or with a guide qwq

He has a letter because he is a courier, and inside the letter is the symbol for Media https://f2.toyhou.se/file/f2-toyhou-se/images/96477415_VIz8YnHjPRz6qFe.png which is a tear drop with branches extending out.
His outfit is monochrome because Eastern Media's colors are all monochromatic black and white.
Router is a Central Media Monitor, so her symbol is eye shaped 👁 with the median symbol inside. Hers is yellow, which matches her eyes, which is what Central Media generally follows for their uniforms.

No, I don't know if you didn't leave it but might have just not seen the announcement of it's closure! I evaporated it about a year ago or so after my health was tanking due to grieving and dealing with bereavement. I needed space from people overall and wanted to focus on mourning and bettering my health before managing a large space again.

YAY thank you for your support!~ ^ ^ I am so glad you enjoyed the books! It depends! I've been writing for the past 8 years, so it's changed a lot over time.
I published my first book at age 18 when I worked as a Nurse Aide 3-5 days a week, then for my second and third book I was a nursing student living living in an apartment with my brother in my early 20s. We split half the utilities and rent, but my commission work, designs, writing, and scholarships/grants paid for my half of the rent. So in a nutshell, I was able to pay rent and make a living just from my online writing and art and animation and going to nursing school.
Now I'm in my mid 20s, I work as an art recreational specialist and unfortunately I haven't published a book in 2 years. I make more of a passive income selling the first four books, patreon, google adsense, twitch, etc. but work fulltime and focus on my job more because I'm making 3x the amount I made as an independent writer and artist (then on top of it, still get a passive income from my books and things listed above.)
However, I can't say my new job is the primary reason why I haven't been writing. In the last 4 years since COVID, my auntie, my dad, and both my grandparents I lived with for summers and other periods of time + four of my beloved pets all passed away and I've been grieving. I was unable to do art and writing for a long period of time because I just felt so empty, so I opted in to work again because that was easier to auto-pilot and I knew I wouldn't lose my savings and home. Grief consumed me though and I feel like grief and the global shutdown all ended up being major factors in affecting my schooling, writing, and jobs for better or for worse.
I still love writing, drawing my beans, doing artfight, etc. and am working on a children's book now, but it was also becoming stressful relying on writing and art for my primary income. Working full time with benefits, insurance, steady checks, and the works has allowed me to live in my own house, happy with my kitties and given me the ability to help my family out more financially as well.
So work hard, finish your books, publish them via self-publishing or a publishing house, and keep doing what you love; you might end up in an amazing dream job because of your works and portfolio and live the dream! Never opt out of working or quitting your day job or going to school for job security, but enjoy writing and art as something you can do freely without worrying about depending on it for your lively hood is my recommendation. I also recommend going to school for something other than art and writing, 30K annually is the average amount you usually make professionally in those industries putting sometimes 80+ hours a week. Digital Media, Programming, the Health Field, Food Industry, and Trades will be 40 hours a week max usually and are closer to 60-80K annually, and then your art and writing always stays something you do because you love it and always can be passive income.
Sorry for the ramble! I hope this was the advice you were looking for! ;w; I just want to add though, I am just one person and everyone's personal experience and journeys are different, so do what always makes you most happy!

Sorry! I was having a moment and deleted it 😞 While my grandma's health is declining and I'm still mourning family and pet loss, I can't find the time or energy to run a public server anymore—so I put it down and left a lot of other servers. Super sorry about the inconvenience! Once I'm back in my home state I hope to be more active again in the future but for now I'll just be loafing around here until my grandma's passed and my mental health is better. OOH, okay so in book one if you remember Video and Radio find out Cinema is both their great-great-grandma, but Radio doesn't feel they're family and is angry Video's considered family to Studio. In book 2, Radio meets Stereo formally, who was completely unaware of the conversation entirely, and clicks with him, later it comes to light that [unsurprisingly] Radio doesn't really respect Stereo, and their relationship gets rockier in book 3, and is not touched upon in book 4.
We'll get some more details in the upcoming book (5), Overcoming Adversity!

Ive been looking multiple times at how you managed to submit aLOT of gifs here and i was wondering... how did you do it? (Bc MAN, i tried aLOT just to put ONE and i could never?! 😭 Sure the gif moved, but not for the thumbnail)
I use this website! It sometimes takes a couple times but I usually resize it down to half and then optimize the gif a little to compress it's size! https://ezgif.com/resize Hopefully it'll work for you, too!

I was wondering if you had any plans for her and Start (now called Play cause the alliteration is nice qwq)? I just think it's cool to learn about their histories. Not a bother!! ^ ^ HMM sadly I didn't, I created them because I had no gapped-collar nobility and I wanted to make some nobles who had the same ranking as Radio did in book 1, I couldn't develop a story for them though hence why I put them up for offers. They're both sisters and Pause was supposed to be a super gremlin despite looking so innocent and Play was the "older" *not really/littermate, sister who ended up not being able to hold a position in the Council/government due to Pause making her take all the blame. I THINK that was all I had for them. Of course, that's all subject to change as you wish. It was just a small concept I made because I wanted to see if I could develop an opposite dynamic to Radio and Frequency and they ended up being like, foils of the two sisters. I hope you enjoy them and I can't wait to see how you end up developing them!

HII!! I've been such a huge huge fan of your work since I was younger and wanted to pop in and say hi!! I did have a quick question too if okay!! I'm writing a book atm and am trying to decide where to publish it. I see that the Strong Hearts are Mandatory books are on Amazon, with a paperback version available!! Is the paperback copy published through Amazon itself? And if so (or really whoever the publisher is), do you still have full rights to your characters?? I'd assume so thanks to their TH profiles, but want to check anyways!! I would love to have an optional paperback copy (since many of my friends prefer physical rather than digital), but want to keep all rights, as the characters are dear to my heart. Hopefully this makes sense!! Tysm :D!
AAAH OH MY GOSH THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! <333 That means so much to me! YES they are on amazon and it's because I published originally through Createspace and then Amazon bought them up! So right now my distributor is through kdp and is still a print-on-demand process, and YES I do have the full rights, HOWEVER that is because I bought my own ISBN number and didn't use Amazon's free-to-use one! So you can publish through Amazon but still keep all the rights.
My process is after finishing your book, having it edited (if you don't know one online or locally you can find one through https://reedsy.com/ ) getting beta readers (usually close friends or people you know and trust with a small signature claiming they promise not to redistribute or copy your work) and then formatting it to what you're happy with, which I got a template through createspace but I'm not sure if they're available anymore but there are ones likely via google.
This was my distributor who I publish with now https://kdp.amazon.com/ and when they prompt you for an ISBN number you can get one through here https://www.myidentifiers.com/
After that go to either your townhall or check out https://www.copyright.gov/ to see how you can get your works copyrighted to yourself!

i Love that you interact with your fans and keep your th updated and write + publish books, all of it is just so amazing and inspiring, you are truly so, so stunning :] my friend gifted me a copy of your book heart of glass quite a few years ago, and it's just so crazy to me that a book i owned as a child is written by a Real person. a Real artist with Real ocs and its just all so crazy, its so easy to separate the author from the work when you are a child but to see you here now is just so.
