Borderlands
Plot/Storyline - Setting : Post BL2/TFTBL, but cannon divergent/AU from the events of BL3 (While I haven't had the opportunity to finish the game quite yet, I'm already quite confident I will be completely disregarding it as far as my own stories/BL headworlds go.)
Most of the protagonists/antagonists from this verse are Pandoran natives, with very few characters heralding from off-world. Pandora is also where most of the story's events take place. For the most part, the original characters from this verse don't have a lot of overlap/interactions with the canon cast, but they may occasionally or incidentally bump into them. Pandora's a big planet, after all, but the pool of relatively-sane individuals? Probably pretty small.
This headworld belongs to Evios & myself alike, and is a shared universe.
PLEASE NOTE : All characters found within this folder will absolutely NEVER be up for sale or trade, unless I have moved them into a trade/sell folder. They are forever homed. So please, don't ask.

Plot/Storyline - Setting : Post TFTBL/is intended as a direct sequel. It is completely canon divergent/AU from the events of BL3. #Rhack. #August/Sasha. #Gortys/LB. #Vaugn/Angel. #Fiona/OC.
While the story namely focuses on AI!Jack & Rhys, as well as Fiona, Sasha, Vaugn, August, and a few other familiar faces, the verse does feature quite a few OCs, so I'm going to be posting them here.

"Nothing To Lose" was lovingly scripted ages ago, and 14 chapters were already written long before BL3 ever dropped. We're not changing it now. Sorry, not sorry.

Plot/Storyline - Setting : The story takes place in a completely Alternate Universe than the BLs universe proper. Hyperion² is an extended universe, which combines elements from mine & Evios (pre-existing) Borderlands AU, "Rewrite", as well as Zukuro & Rudy's SciFi-Fantasy romp; "Hostile Catabolism". #Rhack.
Through a long and complex weave of events (post the adventure of TFTBL), Rhys evokes the trope of a "fish out of temporal water" when he is quite-accidentally hurled 20-something years into the past;
Dropped back into his old stomping grounds aboard the Helios Station, Rhys finds himself haplessly having to pretend to be newly-in-the-employee of the sharktank known as Hyperion while trying to work out how to get home. In his desperation, he turns to the one and only person he can possibly think of for some form of help - Johnathan Calix, the man the assigned to the cubicle right next to his. The man who is also one-day destined to become Handsome Jack.
Recently-widowed, overly-worked, doggedly-tired, and under-appreciated, with a 4-year-old daughter to take care of, John - or Jack, as he prefers to be called - doesn't feel like he's in a position to be helping anyone, but after Rhys provides him with some pretty irrefutable proof about the future course of history, the gears of change are already set in motion: Jack decides to take his destiny into his own hands, and willfully elects to be a better man than his future analog, and right the wrongs he's eventually meant to commit - Starting with Rhys, and making sure the helps to get him back to the time period from-which he belongs.
This, however, never actually happens.
Instead, as they grow to know about one another - Jack coming to value Rhys as a close friend, and Rhys coming to know man before the monster - their platonic relationship lapses into the romantic somewhere along the ways, and, becoming absolutely indelibly intertwined as neither one can bear the idea of eventually parting paths. Repercussions and butterfly-effect be damned, Rhys chooses to give up pursuits about returning to the future, and instead the two of them decide that, together, they're going to become the leaders of Hyperion, and shape a better tomorrow - for everyone.
A few years down the line and Rhys has become the president of Hyperion, while Jack serves as his vice. The main series of events kick off right as the two set off on a new adventure; to find Angel a suitable mentor, so that she can learn how to properly hone and control her Siren abilities (rather than locking her away in a digital tower, and researching abilities in the vain hope of a similar effect). However, the pair are about to find themselves both in way over their heads, in uncharted territories of deep space, with great-unknowns, new enemies, old rivals, and a crew only as loyal as the bills padding their pockets.
Oh, and this time around? It's Atlas who are the bad guys. It's Atlas who are determined to bankrupt Hyperion, and grind them into dust.
Will the intrepid duo come out on top? Probably not. At least, not unless they can make some fast friends, who also just so happen to be more-powerful than the other guys. After all, shit's hostile out there, and things are far from being squared.
