With the way he was fighting, it should have been impossible for that shortsword to Vaellys/2val's chest to happen... which made it all the more horrifying for 2liv. He wasn't fighting to kill, what the hell happened that went horribly wrong? 2liv couldn't stop sobbing that day; he just wanted to protect his family and he thought the only way he could was by being the one to serve 2gnis in their places. The only thing he can do, now and forever, is protect the souls of his family this way. He hates having the thought for even a split second, but he has wondered how different things would be if he were the one that died that day instead...
In Vaellys' version of en2rety, he landed a critical hit spell on 2liv, killing him instantly. That's not what was supposed to happen at all. He didn't want this to happen, he just wanted to knock some sense into 2liv and then that happened!!!! He accidentally killed 2liv a second time later on when he was Sloth Underking, but that one was permanent. Between the two brothers, Vaellys had always been the harder one to break despite being more fragile. The self-destruction of 2liv's soul when he ripped it out of the heartless puppet that looked and sounded exactly like him caused him to have a breakdown... in front of everyone who was present that day. Vaellys sometimes wonders how much more different things would have been if he and 2liv swapped places that day.
Bastard. Absolute bastard. What the HELL. Well, that doesn't completely describe how he feels about Orchid. He's been curious about him for about as long as he's been Underking. He wants to know more about him. He's always shied away from trying to get closer to him because of his own reluctance to form bonds with others. In Orchid's case..... it's because he doesn't want his heart to get broken in the end. Needless to say, 2liv's feelings about him are complicated. Why does he even LIKE him????????? Also Orchid is probably one of the only people who knows his true infernal status.
One of the Underkings, and thus one of his direct subordinates. 2liv is easily among his favorites, considering his comparative lack of obnoxious and unpleasant traits on top of having actual good ones. Great for bullying, which is like his morning coffee.
He really doesn't know much about her to be honest. All he knows is she gave him this flesh husk in exchange for him participating in all future Competitions. Despite his complete lack of knowledge, he can't help but have the vaguest feeling that something's... very off.
An offworlder she dragged into the Competition. Every death name needs some cutesy characters, right? He played his role well enough, though she wasn't fond of the whole buddying-up-with-both-Ignis-and-Larya thing.
[scaly solidarity intensifies]
ok so he was hanging out with dicro at That One Cafe one time and she came by and totally owned dicro in a supportive way, embarrassing him even more than he already was before celethia came over to the table. that was pretty funny.
She won't remember him for very long. Such is having the mind of an infant (as qamar puts it.) Time will tell if they ever cross again.. she did her very best to help him, though!! That's what matters most!!! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
This guy seems WAY nicer than the other fire magician she knows. She met him on some escort mission for a big jerk dude, and he seems pretty cool!
And he's so gonna french fry Dicro, c'mon, even she can tell...
Dicro's little sister. As much as Yval enjoys teasing Dicro, he always does so through the message cantrip if Fray's around because look she really shouldn't be hearing any of it.......... also, she's banned from swearing. :colbert:
Okay, Spark feels really bad about the acquaintance torture part to be honest. He wants to say sorry to everyone but he hecked it up for himself, soooo...... his best guess is to continue being a mild annoyance???
She never thought she'd have ill feelings against a Pokemon, but Spark broke into her room, pestered the alliance countless times, and then helped Ignis torture one of her acquaintances to death, sooo... he's adorable, sure, but he's not getting any pets!!
Soleil and Yval don't know each other too well yet, but being ripped off sure does bring people together. She's glad he hit things off with Dicro, though. It always makes her happy to see Dicro get more friends!
Nik's brother. He always felt bad about the way Nik was treated when they were growing up. Tried to be on friendlier terms with him, but Nik always pushed him and Deitra away. For a while he wondered if Nik actually hated him.
Antheia's an awkward trainwreck waiting to happen. She thinks Jay's the coolest and prettiest dreamy she's ever seen bUT HOW TO TALK TO HER???? ESPECIALLY WHEN ANTHEIA'S KNOWN FOR BEING RECLUSIVE??? AAAAAAA????
SOMEONE HELP HER OUT
Saw him for like a split second once during oress fights. Well, okay that wasn't completely true. He also hinted at maybe forming an alliance. But honestly, no thanks. Crys wasn't too interested in forming an alliance with a salad guy who didn't really so anything while she got her weird power ball swiped by some jerk. Besides.................... he's a really shifty looking salad guy.
LeFleuris once watched Crys get into a scuffle back in that Competition he was stuck in. Got an Oress stolen from her and everything! She didn't seem interested in (or perhaps aware of) his hints toward forming an alliance, but he took little offense to it. It was probably in her best interest anyway, considering the bloodbath that followed...
"....Thanks for checking in on me. I mean it."
Antheia's honestly grateful to have an older sibling that worries about her well-being. She's worried about them getting so little sleep, though... it's kind of terrifying how their sleep schedule's more unstable than hers.
Growing up, it's always just been the two of them watching out for each other. At least Gnocchi managed to have a few acquaintances that came and went, though. They're really worried about their little sister for many reasons, even and especially her lack of interaction with others.
Bug feels like she's seen him before.... she doesn't remember much. It might have been too long. Either way, she's always willing to stay close by and attempt to comfort Cas if he seems to be down.
She usually finds him when he's all alone...
At least she has a ton of Cas-related horror stories to share with friends now. To prove how much of a menace he is. Is that REALLY even a bright side though?
How does she even know him?????
One of Dioclea's "enemies" from back in her supervillain days. She never commented on their suspicious similarities to Lapis because she figured they both already knew about each other. Twins, maybe?
Anyway, Dioclea thinks they could've been friends even though they were supposed to be enemies. Now that they're both at Hell College, it seems like they might just get that chance!
Lapis was one of her allies back in her supervillain days. One day she wanted to "borrow" something from them and instead wound up hiding in their closet for several hours before she could escape unseen. She doesn't even remember what she went in there for... from then on she always felt a little awkward around them.
