These adopts are currently in an ''art upgrade'' folder and will be retouched in the future with extra art :) That means they are unavailable as is.

Please remember, that if an adoptable is purchased for a on-sale price, their resale value drops to that price.
Only if you spend money on the adopt does it re-increase in resale value, adding your own art does not increase the price.

When uploading adopts to toyhouse when purchased through kofi, you can either ask me Riel through pm to send you the toyhouse version, or you can upload yourself manually and give Riel creator credit instead.
The toyhouse shop remains as an onsite listing hub to gain more eyes on the shop, or provide users with new information and updates should they not use ko-fi actively.

All current Adoptable Gallery folders contain a link to the category these adopts are in.

Hello Dear Customers! An Informative Long message for you.
Thank you so much for following me through my struggles post 2022 deviantart exodus, and 2023 struggles. Moving to toyhouse had given me some hope, but essentially selling by paypal invoice has proven to be time consuming and exhausting. And of course, without deviantart or twitter, I had no means to market my work effectively. I lost motivation for a while.. So it's time to try something new.

It took me some time to even begin to be able to set this up, but I'm slowly moving adoptables to be available for purchase through my Ko-fi shop, and I will be working on an alt blog on tumblr to market the listings.
The toyhouse shop will be slowly updated, as you may have noticed a new folder has appeared: 2021 Bargain Bin

How does Ko-fi purchase work?
The digital service allows me to set purchase limits to 1, so you won't have to worry about someone buying the same adopt. Once bought, you receive the file immediately through ko-fi, and I get paid. No need for paypal's invoice system and the usual back and forth messaging. Hopefully this means I will be stress-free and you too!

The terms of service still apply.
They are linked by the usual word document I've provided on my shop links, and it is recommend you read through them. You can always reach out to my main toyhouse Riel in pms if you have any questions or require clarification.

I bought through Ko-fi, what now?
I should be able to view that the adopt has been sold, so it will eventually be manually removed from the toyhouse shop to reflect that it is no longer available.
Alternatively, while you download your file you don't have to upload it to toyhouse yourself. If you wish you can instead contact me through Riel with a confirmation of your purchase and I will send the adopt to you through toyhouse.

Can I still purchase your adopts without using Ko-Fi?
Ko-fi accepts more payment methods than paypal does, and should make the process easier and faster for you, not just me.
At this moment I am reworking the adopt shop before I can begin making new adoptables, so I will not be accepting sales through the old method.
I will consider doing paypal invoices again if there is a massive need for it. However, this means I will have to rebalance prices for paypal-only purchases, since ko-fi will allow me to earn more comfortably by selling through them.

Older Adopts and Resells on ActualEvil
For the time being, adopts hosted on ActualEvil cannot be sold. You can always reach out to Riel with trade offers (art, adoptables, game keys) for them instead. 

New Pricing & Discounts
Older adopts will eventually be slowly grouped by years and batch type, if they don't receive an art upgrade, their price may be reduced for the ko-fi shop listing. As for currency, they will no longer be made available in USD. Ko-fi shop listings will be exclusively sold in EURO price for my convenience.
This means I have to go through the remainder of my unsold works and determine what is their permanent new price.
I am unaware if american users will be offered an USD variant to the price if viewing my shop. I apologise in advance if currency conversion is impossible for you.
The average difference between EURO and USD as of writing is currently:  1 usd = 0.93 euro cents.

Three-Way Trades?
Sometimes, customers would buy an adopt from me to trade with another user. This will still be possible, but you will have to contact me after purchase with proof of purchase. Please send them the file you bought, and then let me know to transfer the on-toyhouse adopt to the user you're trading with. This assures me I can set the correct permissions for the design in the settings.

The Adoptable I wish to buy is currently not listed on ko-fi.. What Now?
Please be patient! I will be updating the toyhouse shop folders with links to Ko-fi when I have the time. There's a lot of unsold designs on here so it will take a while to get everything sorted and moved.
I recommend checking back from time to time. And if you can, please inform your friends / community if you enjoy my character adopts! Every word out there is sincerely appreciated.

Will new adoptables be listed on toyhouse in the future?
Yes! This profile will remain a means of advertisement and listing, all your necessary FAQ is easy to reach here.

Can I be refunded for a ko-fi shop purchase?
If you force a refund, you will be blacklisted and blocked from future adopt purchases. Please read the terms and service before you purchase. If you somehow cannot access your purchased files through ko-fi, please reach out to Riel with proof of purchase.
Be responsible with your money.

Can I purchase through the ko-fi donate button?
No. Please buy the available adopt you want through my ko-fi shop. Donations are like tips, they are purely optional.
Please be aware tipping/donating does not increase resale value of your character adopt.
If it says ''sold out'' it means someone bought the design before you could. Better luck next time!

So does this mean you'll start doing Ko-Fi Art Commissions?
I have to rework my commission TOS first, but I will eventually be opening simple art commissions!

Will you be open to doing Adopt Customs through ko-fi?
At this time, I don't think I'll be comfortable doing custom work. I still want to see how well ko-fi does for me first. Stress is a big factor in whether something is a good idea for me to implement or not.

Do I get anything from supporting you monthly through ko-fi?
Nope. It's there if you want to do so, but I cannot offer anything beyond my gratitude.

My work is intended to be customer friendly; my adopts are mostly cheap, and my rules aren't as strict. I want people to use my designs as freely as possible, but there are limits.
There is a line, and I expect all customers to respect this. This includes folks who have received my designs through trades or gifts.

I'm a disabled person, I put a lot of effort and work in my things, it's exhausting and hurtful to see my work botched or disrespected.
It is very demotivating. Please understand that I am human.

If you've followed the TOS correctly from the start or read it, the changes do not affect you- The changes were mostly made to clarify how blacklist works, and some extra addendums on the not allowed use of AI shit.

For those who don't know, in the light of the aigen controversy on deviantart, I've removed everything bit by bit from my deviantart under the same username.
All adopts were originally from there. These are the leftovers, now safely archived and up for sale here on toyhouse instead.

As for deviantart, safe to say.. If things improve a little bit (seeing as lawsuits are happening) and the aigen spam stops ruining the homefeed from giving actual adopt artists proper traffic, I might return on there, but just for the adoptables community. I still use my deviantart to make purchases myself, but currently not to sell. I don't feel comfortable with the platform right now as it stands, it is very hostile to small creators and big creators too it seems.

I won't be making new adoptables for a while, but anything new and relevant will eventually be posted on here if it does not work out on other websites. Do not worry. I enjoy making adopts, but I really do need a break from making them.. Unfortunately deviantart was my biggest platform for this, and their shenanigans have given me depression throughout october to november and early december. I just needed to leave it for now..
I still feel pretty conflicted about it all.

If you are pro aigen you are pro art theft. Unless a new aigen is made with ethical resources, it will always be art theft. There's enough resources out there to explain. Please block me if you disagree, I don't want to interact with you or see your stuff.
