I don't know about you guys, but I love America. It's amazing that this country's 250 years old. I'm well aware that it's not perfect, but it's a land of freedom and opportunity. (Also, I may have said it better in a commentary I made on a patriotic art piece I made a few years ago, find it here.)

Very mild vent heads-up
Artfight is about to start and I'm a little scared (I shouldn't be because I've done it before, but sometimes with new characters come new worries.)
So pray that ArtFight goes well for me and that I don't get in trouble over Trinity. I may be paranoid, but I'm concerned because the idea to give her all those TobyMac album outfits and accessories, as well as some things I did with my AF profile, was inspired by someone else's work, and I'm a little scared of what will happen if the person finds out. And I can't just tell this person about it because I fit the DNI criteria, and also, while TobyMac's music may be "non-believer-friendly," it's still pretty religious, and this person doesn't want anything to do with religion, ESPECIALLY Christianity. So I'm just hoping that artist who inspired all this never finds out. Also pray that I get plenty of attacks in (I'm shooting for 20 this year.)

I worried I may have accidentally used an offensive disabled stereotype in one of my stories and not realized it (no, this isn't about Seth, and I plan to do more research for him.) So I made this apocalypse AU with my Minecraft characters which was focused on Cosmo. Cosmo was supposed to be blind in one eye in this AU and also be kind of tough and quiet.
I just read a post by a person with a lazy eye condition, and while they mostly talked about their condition and how to properly represent it, they also mentioned an example to make a point, and said it's wrong to have a character who is tough and blind in one eye because not all people who blind in one eye are tough, and it's stereotyping, misinformation, and needs to stop.
I'm very concerned that Cosmo matches this stereotype and I'm not sure what should do about. I don't know if I should just cancel the whole AU, re-work everything and give Cosmo two good eyes, or do something else. I've put all the apocalypse AU versions of my OCs on auth-only and have removed them from my Artfight for the time being. If I offended anyone with this version of Cosmo, I'm very sorry.
So if any of you reading this know how I can improve this, please give me advice, and thank you for reading.
It's official. His name is Michael. No one was suggesting names, so I went with the name I was considering myself. And I'm quite attached to that name. I think it suits him.
Also you don't have to worry about coming up with headcanons, either.
I'm about to give IC a bit of a redesign to fit my style better, and I still haven't settled upon a name, so I need to figure out what name to put on the ref. I'm looking for a masculine or neutral name that relates to the albums he's based on (Tonight and Eye On It by TobyMac) or just music in general. I'm currently using Michael as a placeholder name and might make that his actual name if I don't get any suggestions I like. Hoping some of you have good name ideas.
I'm also trying to develop my newest OCs and I'm seeking seeking headcanons for them, in particular IC, Iris, Walter, Casey, Hibiscus, Emotional Support Kitties, and Emilee. (I might add more characters to the list as I upload them.) More info is on their Artfight profiles. Please no headcanons about sexuality, romantic orientation, or gender identity. So yeah, if you have any good headcanons for these characters, tell me them!
Plus, this bulletin is yet another reminder to get your characters ready for Artfight! We're less than a month away! (and I'm nowhere near ready ;-;)

Yep, Seth turns another year older today! (May 22 is Seth's canon birthday, but I actually created him sometime in December.) All too often I miss my OCs' birthdays, but I made a point of celebrating Seth's this year, so here's some birthday art of him! (I added commentary here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1323447956/)
So yeah! As part of the celebration, y'all are welcome to ask me anything about Seth, or even try to interact with Seth himself. Seth is very quiet and has trouble speaking, especially around strangers, so it would be interesting to see if you can get a word out of him! Have fun!
