Against their better judgment, Rhys entered.
A small photo was placed in each half, one depicting a grey-scaled man with a neutral expression, and the other a sepia-stained woman smiling delicately.
This was it
The ringing ceased as Ginger plucked the trinket out of the sand with a small swipe of his paw, and a new motive wormed its way into its stead
Take me where I belong
They are old, persistent, unweathered and ever there- rigid in the current of the river of time that races past and ravages near all else.
Oh, but if only the embers could rise up and show us!
There's voices in the fog. Shadows rippling as they dart through the mist, stirring up currents in their quake but weightless- formless- all the same. Shadows whispering things from the thick clouds, far-off and muted, and yet insistent as they called out. Mihal could hear them, echoing all around all around, their voices so near to being clear enough to make out what they said, but still infuriatingly muffled, and just enough they escaped them time and time again.
That's when it dawned on Abfall, how had that beast known he had drowned all those years ago?
"You are a gardener too, right?"
She was a kind thing to the spirits who wished to visit her. Despite her immense size that challenged even the highest growing of trees, Nameless was an incredibly gentle soul who offered advice and sweetness to her visitors, or even being a simple presence for them to settle amongst. At the same time, however, she sees a forest of new growth, nursed by the giants that once stood there. Every stump is capped in moss, grasses, saplings, creeping vines and flowers. Entire colonies of ants and termites have homed themselves in some of the stumps. Small rodents and birds have hollowed out their own spaces, picking out worms and beetles, trilliums and salal, filling their bellies and lining their nests.

Holiday gift eskchange for ScarletsFeed of her esk, Morrigan.
Not quite the "right" holiday depicted, but I hope you love Halloween as much as I do! I had hoped to get this up before the weekend, but better late than never, right? Hope you like it and that I did Morrigan justice! I had fun thinking up a fun situation for her, and wondering how she might respond.
