She was only fourteen, roaming alone in the forest at night, as no one had ever told her how dangerous it could be. Luckily, rather than an unwanted human, she met a Pokémon instead. A bright pink Psyduck, unlike anything she had ever seen before, was splashing around in the river. Having a taste for anything out of the ordinary, and pink being her favourite colour, she just HAD to have that duck. Luckily, she always had a Loveball in her bag, not that she was interested in becoming a Pokémon trainer, but because you never know – and also because the ball is pink.
Her human being best friends with Pomme's human, the two pups obviously became friends as well, and are often seen napping together in the sun, usually after a few hours of vigorous play in the backyard (which, of course, includes some mud-fight as well).
Ténèbres fell in love with Plumette, a completely diurnal Psyduck who struggles to stay awake at night. They mainly see each other when one of them gets up to say goodnight to the other, yet, despite this drastic lifestyle pitfall, their relationship seems to be holding strong. They share an interest for shiny objects, which Ténèbres will often bring home from his nocturnal wereabouts.

His romantic feelings placed him in a strong competition against Shaduck, another Psyduck belonging to another Grunt, who happens to also have fallen madly in love with the Pink Psyduck. The two boys are constantly seen battling to decide who deserves the pretty lady, ignoring that she is actually into neither of them.
He regularly fights with Dastard, another of Mary's suitor. Their rivalry is more about ego than love at this point, but Shaduck won’t admit it.
Whenever they meet, they will size each other up, chests puffed out, showing off. It may seem like they are on the verge of fighting, but this actually never happens. Simply from sheer laziness.
While having great respect for all of his Pokémon, TBN sure has a special connection with Perikles, whom he raised as a young calf. He takes great care of his devoted friend, and would never even consider letting him down.
Perikles shares a strong connection with his trainer TBN. Being both passionate about their work, being battles or competitions, they spend countless hours training together, often until exhaustion. Perikles is fully devoted to his trainer and will obey every order.
Moxzie considers Jandi, another rising idol's mascot, as his nemesis. When they meet, he has to be contained to prevent him from iniating a fight.
While not being as invested in the whole rivalry thing as Moxzie, Jandi still enjoys playing along and trying his best to surpass Moxzie in any way he can.
Shaduck fell madly in love with Mary. She is his sun, his muse, the one he dreams about days and nights. Although being convinced they are meant to be together, he still couldn't fathom the courage to actually approach her.
Mary is well aware of Shaduck's feelings for her, having notice him often glancing at her from the room's corner. Being uninterested in the gloomy, evil-looking duck, she politely ignores him.
Mary may as well be the only thing Dastard was ever able to appreciate in this world. Him who is constantly gloomy, grumpy and hating on everything, seems to have caught strong love feeling for the bright, happy and bubbly Mary.
While she appreciate the duck's peculiar affection to her, he is not much of her "style". Good-natured, she always acts friendly towards him, but makes it clear she is not interested in any romantic interaction.

Canartichiot inherited a lot of his father's qualities. Aiming for power and devoted to his duty, they will train together for hours a day, day after day. He deeply respects his father, but secretely dreams of one day being able to beat him in a fight.
Amaranth and Arygold were both gifted to their trainer as puppies. Arygold came first, but easily accepted the young Poochyena girl, despite her being overly energetic back then. They grew together and formed a strong bond, first as friends, now as mates.
Despite his serious nature, trying to hide and contain any emotion or feeling, Arygold loves Amaranth's open displays of affection. He won't show it when anyone can see, but in private, he may turn into a goofy lovebug as well.
Having a strong maternal instinct, she takes great care of her only son. She may not be strong in battles, but she will give her life to protect her kid if needed.
Rozowy is the hyperactive son of Cereza. He loves to get himself in trouble, and often requires his mother to help him out of a hole. He's a born collector and will pick up anything he finds, to Cereza’s dismay who desperately tries to keep the den clean.
The only person able to beat him at his own game is Piroska, who managed to out-sweet-talk him and seduce his egoistic heart. He tries to hide and deny his feelings as much as he can, worrying that the charming girl might take advantage of his feelings the way he takes advantage of other's. But he honesty cannot resist her.
Terul is Heiko's older brother. Heiko loves messing around and teasing his brother as he knows he will never dare to fight back, no matter how annoyed he can be sometimes
Heiko is Terul's younger brother, born from the same mother. Terul is very protective towards his sibling, and won't let anyone miss with him.
Despite Cassandre being really close to his sister, and despite them having a somewhat similar personality, Hippolyte and Cassandre actually does not like each other. Cassandre will show some respect to the dear brother of her friend, but does not enjoy spending time with him, and will rather avoid him. He likes to annoy them and easily manage to irritate her until they argue and she ends up sulking. Maybe Hippolyte actually likes her, though.
Cassandre and Argyros became friends at first sight. They instantly liked each other for some reason, and became really good friends, spending lots of time together, chatting about each other's interests, sharing ideas and asking for opinions. They are often seen showing affection to each other, simply touching each other, keeping a hand at the other's back while walking, or actually cuddling and nuzzling. And, in the warm intimacy of some sweet home, they might add some "with benefits" term to their friendship.
