Thank you for viewing my commission page.
My commission prices are variable ($8-$400+). As I do not believe in undercutting or undervaluing art.
This results in an unfair balance for time vs payment for all artists. But be assured, you do get what you paid for.
On average my prices mean around USD$8-10/hour for my work, this is online pricing only.
Please do not take this as a guide for Commercial Artworks.

Rules of the Game
- NSFW: I charge +10% for NSFW images, I only do M x M (yaoi).
- Extra Character: I charge +50% for an additional character in the same image.
- DA pts: I will take DA points in lieu of payment for items up to $15.
- Images cannot be resold for a price higher than what you paid for. I do list prices.
- Images may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without prior agreement.
Generally commercial images will attract a much higher cost.
Commercial purposes incl: print, cushions, books, games etc. - Buyer pays 50% of total cost upfront, the rest is paid upon delivery of watermarked preview.
- Buyer receives a clean copy of the image, but my signature must remain.

Prices are in USD, where there is variation, you will receive a quote after we discuss complexity/BG
Projected finishing times are for AFTER all negotiations/drafts are agreed to, if I'm busy I'll say so.
Note: The samples include art in collaboration with the other artist in the Studio [Kabukiyasha].

I made a mistake/mixup with sukibelle's TH earlier, apologies for confusion.
- DA: sukibelle [Plagiarises, threatens artists over illegal copyright issues, resells adopts with no-resell rules]

Payment
- Payment is in USD or DA points if I agree to do so.
- Payments are to go to either the arcaedia DA account (points)
Or the studio Paypal. Please PM for Paypal details. - 50% of payment is taken upfront as deposit.
The rest is paid upon receiving watermarked preview. - Clean art will be provided once full payment is received.
- You can check the progress of your order on the Forum, via PM or any of my To-Do lists.
- Charge backers will be listed in the Blacklist and will never be able to commission me again.
Copyright
- Unless I am drawing your OC, both design and art should be credited to:
Skairin/Lorn or arcaedia [Deviantart], Caged Fish Games (for game art), or the Insanity Manga studio. - There is no such thing as % change = artwork belonging to a different person.
This is a misconception. Please be aware. - I do not trace or use photo-backgrounds, as many Asian-style artists do.
Please do not ask me to. - While I can reproduce any 'style' of art you wish, I will not copy a character's traits directly.
Nor will I reproduce someone else's face for commercial purposes without permission.
Again, please do not ask me to.
Pets/Adopts
- My adopts/pets should be credited to me as Skairin/Lorn or arcaedia [Deviantart],
Caged Fish Games (for game art), or the Insanity Manga studio. - Unless they are a custom/your OC/pet, you may not credit the design to anyone else.
- You may recolour/ask others to recolour pets/OCs for you.
- Adopts are always transferrable, but please read the rules on transfers (regifting etc).
- Adopts and Pets (including eggs) cannot be resold for a higher value than you bought them. I do list prices.
- Evolving Pets/Adopts cannot be de-evolved, please be careful when buying/acquiring EVO/hatching items
Custom Art
- Custom Art must remain credited to me as Skairin/Lorn or arcaedia [Deviantart],
Caged Fish Games (for game art), or the Insanity Manga studio. - Custom Art cannot be resold unless coupled with a transfer of your character.
- The image cannot be resold for more than what you paid.
- You can gift or trade the artwork if you like, but credits must remain.
- You may not reproduce the artwork for commercial purposes except by direct written permission (email) after negotiations.
Commercial purposes include (but not limited to): Games, prints, books/manga, t-shirts and other merchandise.
Commercial artworks incur a much higher base cost if done without royalties. - You may use the custom artwork in any other purpose you prefer, including blogs, websites, so forth.
But please remember to credit me. - You may alter the original artwork if you like, but again, credits must remain.
Art Trades
- Due to the high volume of art-related work I must do,
I generally do not do custom Art Trades. - Art Trade credit rules remain the same as above.
I will credit your artworks in any fashion you choose. - Art Trade art cannot be resold under any circumstances.
I will inform anyone who buys such gift art of this rule. - I am fairly patient when it comes to waiting on art.
I will however, not give you my artwork until yours is done.
However, I expect the same treatment.
