The anniversary of the death of a loved one hurts, even if it's been decades since their passing. X and Evil can be civil with each other most of the time, but this time of year is hard for X. Evil can't understand.

Evan starts writing to his brother days after his death because it just isn't the same not having anyone to talk to anymore. Whether or not it's therapeutic is up for debate
X attends Alfred's funeral, and it's just as depressing as he thought it might be. He really wasn't anticipating the punch to the dick, though.
