SOOO i keep seeing this around recently and it seems cute as hell, so i have finally decided to shamelessly jump on the bandwagon..... 🙈 leave a message on it if you want!! whatever you feel like. i'm still figuring out what sorts of things to write, but you're very welcome to drop your own too and i'll see if i can leave a little something ehe

soooo!! this is just a small notice and reminder that i've been meaning to make sometime! just in general, so there's no specific occasions this is directed towards

i realise caelestis' pronouns and masculine name, etc, can probably pretty easily cause confusion with his gender, and definitely just make it easier to forget, but i want to further emphasize the fact that he's still very much nonbinary, and not at all male! since i've been really bad at pointing out mistakes directly, and i'm really not confident that the bits throughout his profile have been the best cure-all either, here is a bulletin to ramble about him there in the meantime ehee

so caelestis gets described as a man and other similarly masculine words on occasion, and i really genuinely don't hold anything against anyone for that, since i know it's very likely just an unintentional slip-up, and it's not a huge deal ofc! but i just want to make sure to clear up any potential misunderstandings, and emphasize more here so it's hopefully easier to avoid better in the future at least! 

ALSO if you've kept this aspect of him carefully in mind already or don't interact much directly dw about all this of course!

some bullet points so this doesn't get all too much wordier:

• please try to not refer to him as a man, boy, etc, or anything less gender neutral that involves those words in or out of writing. anything too overtly masculine, really!
• it's completely fine ofc if your character themself just assumes him to be male based on how he looks and presents overall. just make note of all this for anything more neutral or less purely in-character
• while preferably not a ton beyond that, stuff like 'guy' is fine sometimes if it flows well and you keep in mind that he isn't a guy guy
• he isn't transmasc either, since he actually started off with a fully male body and gender at first through figuring he had to pick one or the other to be more human, and figured out his actual identity later from there
• he leans much more feminine even, if anything. i know i dug myself into a hole with his pronouns i'm sorry 😭
• all in all, he is no more man than any other average nonbinary or agender character! if you wouldn't for a character who uses they/them pronouns, try not to for caelestis either, please! 

i'm weak and die inside so bad at the thought of pointing out anything negative about things i enjoy so much, even when it's just a genuine mistake KJBGJKSG. but . in the future i'll maybe try to work on correcting it better when it comes up, since i know it's easy to forget sometimes and slip up even when you do know 👍💗 i'm really sorry for going on about all this, and i really don't mean to be too nitpicky ofc either AAAHH

drawing some other self-indulgent stuff recently got me in the mood for more ship art, and i crave any validation and attention from people's interest where i can get it, sooo!! let me know who you'd like thrown together caelestis, along with anything in particular YOU yes you 🫵 might like to see, whether any general concepts, forum game interactions, or other ideas, etc. mainly for pairs who some romantic interest exists with on either end, since i'm simpleminded and extra partial to couple art i'm sowwy (but while the chances of getting to it aren't as high, i'm not completely closed to other things still)

ANDD while i'm usually always open to new stuff, i'll probably limit art like this at least for now to only characters who've interacted some bit already, or who we've already shown mutual interest in things with. doesn't matter how much i've done in the past if any tho, or how long it's been since. could be any variation between a full painted illustration, a quicker sketch, or even pixel art, etc, depending on my energy and what works best

also no guarantee how much i'll be able to get to, and dunno how much will have to seep into artfight or after even, but i will cross that bridge when i come to it and try my best

what it says on the tin, basically! i'm usually technically open for them most of the time either way, but i figure now should be a decent time to really actually promote them a little again. i've finally officially added the colored sketch style (although the few examples i have for it might be a little outdated by now, whoops), and upped the prices of my normal painted style slightly so the difference between the two is a little more appropriate

i'll probably only be doing 2-3 at once or so depending on how big things are, but i'd always be happy to let anyone know whether i feel up for more at any point or after

SO, GUESS WHO WENT TO SEE LORD HURON TODAY. don't know what's normal to make a big deal out of with that sort of thing, but it's only the second concert i've ever been to in my life and i'm just going to be self-indulgent for a minute and ramble here about something silly because GOD i've been anticipating this all summer. i'm sorry for the notification   

started off as a bit of an emotional roller coaster (albeit not uncharacteristically for me lol), and i had to fight my suffering and dying body a little to watch as best i could since there was like no seating in the place, and with nothing you could bring for anything like that allowed either, like PLEAS E wtf,,,, but good god. there is still just nothing like seeing your favorite artist for the first time with half your favorite songs blasted at you live. 3D, in real time     that feeling when you realise like oh god it's this song and it plays and it's amazing and just GHAJHKGAHJGAHJGHJ. absolutely exhilarating, and also i need those ancient names part I and II experiences repeated forever and mashed permanently into my brain please and thank you

the venue itself may have sucked a little comfort-wise (perfect as the location otherwise was), but hey!! IT WAS WORTH. plus my sister showed me a nice spot on top a nearby tree root where i could see better near the end at least, so that was great haha
