I get to finally revamp gregorys spell list but picking spells for a bard is such a struggle. Bro its All concentration. Im losing my mind hes got ac 13 and con 0 and its all concentration. Is the bard playstyle really supposed to be "pick a party support effect and pray it holds, just chill for the rest of the combat" ?

i decided to type out like 5 paragraphs worth of gregorys family dynamics to out dm less than a week ago thinking it might never be relevant, but its been on my mind anyways so why not. and on friday he managed to not only introduce gregorys sister but also his dad??? so that was a lot of fun. it also revealed to the rest of the party that gregorys actually a drow and not just some vague probably-elven descent, since his sister did not feel any qualms about calling him her brother in front of everyone before stabbing him like 3 times. they all took it well (even going as far as to listen to gregorys pleas to not kill her, so they just beat her unconscious) and were more interested in finding out about any other relatives that might come after him. and then lo and behold another figure appears and its none other than gregorys papa (decked out in full eilistraee paladin armour and sexy handsome as ever) searching for said sister to stop her from doing something stupid. he doesnt recognise gregory in his disguise And gregory refuses to reveal himself so everyone else just. took it upon themselves. to ask this handsome stranger about his familys whereabouts and "if your son could hear you right now what would you say to him". just incredibly funny stuff. anyways we gave him our knocked out murderess and he got weirded out by the questions and left with her, and then everyone gave gregory a piece of their mind cos "do you know what i would give to Have a dad and have him like me and be able to talk to him". cleric even promised that once he gets his 3rd level spells back he can send a message for me😔. just overall incredibly exciting for the me i cant wait for whats in stock next sigh sigh sigh
