Don't get it twisted,"Razor Rat" are a gang. And as all gangs are, you never want to face them in an alley.
But in terms of gangs, Razor Rat are more like a gang of petty thieves than anything dangerously serious. They don't have any deeper ambition other than "get-rich-quick", and as a result, they operate in mostly nicer towns, as that's where the money is. And because they don't hide their identity, most people know who their member are, so they cannot get away with bigger crimes like murder or assault.
However, they are rather cunning and full of street-smarts. Most of there members are really good a pick-pocketing, and almost all of there members are good at keeping a good scam going. And while most of their members are not particular stronger than the average citizen, their leader, Glareon, is a powerful individual in his own right. There is a reason why he is hardly seen.
Point is, unless you know what you are doing, keep you head on a swivel. You will never know know if Razor Rat is doing something shady around you...or if they already have...
"Shadow Serve " is a secret military squadron funded by Central. If you ever see a random tennis player standing in your way, its most likely Game, Set, And Match for you.
The squadron reflects both its mastery of tennis skills and its unique ability to harness black magic in the most literal sense, making its operatives formidable assets in unconventional warfare scenarios.
Most that are recruited into the squadron are/were from elite tennis academies and training centers worldwide. Early training includes intensive physical conditioning to enhance agility, speed, and endurance, mirroring the demands of high-level tennis matches. More specifically, they engage in drills focused on precision shots, quick reflexes, and accurate serves; in addition to receiving specialized instruction in tactical tennis strategies, analyzing various playing styles, identify weaknesses, and developing game plans to effectively exploit all weaknesses.
Those who show exceptional tennis ability move on to the second practicum: honing their black magic. Attempting to draw and develop their native hidden energies, channel supernatural forces, and integrate mystical techniques into their "tennis" game-play. This unique training empowers them to use enchanted equipment, cast protective spells, and even manipulate elements on the battlefield.
Those who can't keep up at with are sent back to their respective tennis academies, memories wiped of what they had seen or heard from training.
Ruthless mercenaries. Cunning masterminds. These are some of the word used to describe the well-organized, Venom Syndicate. Completely comprised of Squamata (or lizards and snakes, for our non-scientific friends), the Syndicate operates more like the mob, in the sense that most of activities revolve around smuggling, assassination, extortion, drug trafficking, arms dealing, information theft, high-stakes heists, and racketeering.
The difference between them and other mob crews, is that how out in the open they are. Most of the general public know who their members are and when and where a "hit" is going down, just also known they can't do a thing about it for four main reasons.
- The obvious threat and intimation should anyone report of their underground activities
- They are good at covering their tracks: visually, digitally, even through the paper trail
- They have the "in's" with powerful people within the government AND Central, a rarity among crimal syndicate
- Probably the main reason is they do a lot of charity work, especially within the Southwest region of the states. That's why the deserty regions are typically where you will find their operations, as the residents there adore their philantropy
