Just saw this prompt and it looked interesting, so I wanted to give it a shot! It's been awhile since I've done one of these lol

1. What is your favorite art piece you made this year?

There's a bunch of pieces I really like, but here's a selection of a few of my favs :]

2. What is your favorite design you made this year?

I would have to say of the two designs I made this year, Wilkołak is my fav :]

3. Which design or piece do you feel was *most* out of your comfort zone this year?

Probably one of these two trades I did with friends, as both of them were characters and/or designs that were way different from what I usually do

4. How many pieces of yours were personal art or vent art?

There were really only two pieces of vent art, one that I'm not gonna include here for potential eyestrain and stuff, and the gif piece I included above. Otherwise there was a lot of personal pieces, with my favorite one(s) being my Worth It sequence I made after my Owl City concert.

5. Show your first piece of 2023 and last piece of 2023 (so far) and compare them!

I don't really feel like my style has evolved a lot but I'm happy with it nonetheless :]

6. What do your chibis look like?

Like these! They're kinda old tho, dating from October 2021. I should make more of them tho I like them a lot :]

7. Piece you are least proud of! (what do you like/dislike about it, what is left desired, etc?)

I wasn't terribly happy with this one from last January since the facial features and the arms and stuff feel rlly wonky :[

8. Name some inspirations that shaped or inspired your work throughout this year!

I don't wanna name names specifically but all my friends continue to inspire my work all the time <33 Outside of friends, I would say the biggest inspiring force this year for me was music, especially Owl City!

9. Whats the most unusual species/creature you drew (opt: show it !!)

I would say either the HTTYD dragon species for the trade above or either the Maine Coon/Possum mix I did for a trade (below, left), or the Shaymin character I did for Art Fight!

10. Which piece has the craziest colors!! (CW if needed)

I didn't really do too much with crazy colors this year but I liked the ones in the background for my 200 Sheps drawing :]

11. Do you feel your art has improved since the beginning of 2023?

Like I said before, I don't think there is a huge difference between my style from the beginning of the year til now, but I like how comfortable I am with it

12. What are your art-related goals/resolutions for 2024?

Mainly just make some more characters out of the ideas I have bouncing around in my head (pooltoy oc and airplane oc are at the forefront of that hehe)

13. Favorite characters of this year?

From what I've seen from other people going around, TH is cracking down on characters based on pre-existing characters/kinsonas again, so in order to Beat this Crusade (aheehee), Starburst is back on Authorized View Only. Hopefully this doesn't have to be the case for long, considering she's my favorite OC and I want to show her off to people, but ig we'll just have to wait and see.
