Extinction

Extinction was actually my first ever webcomic! I got Pokemon Art academy way back in 2014, saw some people using it to post comics, and decided that I wanted to try that! So I brought my 3DS to school and spent my lunch periods drawing Pokemon fanfiction. Can’t say there was much plot there, but I DO remember the characters, and I’ve reworked the plot into something that makes a bit more sense. Extinction follows a world where humans have quietly receded, leaving Pokemon to reclaim the land they once occupied. Seeking a safer life for herself and her children, a Dragonite is one of the many Pokemon migrating at this time–unfortunately, she doesn’t make it to her destination. She’s caught in a sudden thunderstorm, and is separated from one of her children. He wakes to a friendly Pokemon who remembers what humans were like and maintains a preserve to keep many safe. As the world grows increasingly tumultuous, this preserve becomes a safe haven for many Pokemon–but there’s more in store for the golden Dratini who fell here than he could have ever expected.
