By the will of the Greater Gods, stars are born, and if strong enough, develop a separate, humanoid vessel along with their own will.
Celestial beings born from stars, (are stars in essence) they fight Dark stars/Black holes who threaten to tip the balance of the universe and plunge the world into chaos
