(Ill edit this la ter im tired but okay)
Birg is a bit afraid of Efi; both in what they're capable of and their intimidating attitude in general. He senses obvious hostility directed at him and that's the last thing he wants from a powerful dream entity. Deep inside he wishes he could try and make them dislike him just a bit less. He feels like they got off on the wrong foot with their official 'meeting' and wants to fix it. (aka whacking shashi's third eye/them in the face)
I DO NOT LIKE THIS BIRG. HE IS BIG AND DUMB AND STUPID AND SMELLY AND BAD. ANGER.
he was gay for shashi but then realized he wasn't actually gay for shashi he was envious or something. idk. dream fanboy?? used to be best friends along with belle but LMAOOOOOOOOO
(lack of effort till i fix it up)
Belle thinks of Birg as an older sibling and looks up to him. She feels intensely comfortable around him and has no secrets from the big goofball. Although she is four years his junior, she finds herself serving as his moral compass many times. She finds his enthusiasm and energy very refreshing (and at times hard to keep up with). There never seems to be a dull moment when they are together and she enjoys his presence very much.
There was a time in high school during her sophomore year when Belle had a rare moment of emotional vulnerability. She unintentionally took this out on Birg, asking him out on a whim, albeit as a rebound for her feelings towards Shashi (but she didn't know it at the time). At the encouragement of her friends telling her that Birger would help her to get over her silly crush, one date turned into two and two weeks turned into several months. The relationship was a good vacation for her heart but eventually, Belle had to come to terms with herself. She would never feel the same way towards Birg as she did with Shash and they drifted apart for a short time while Belle worked up the courage to confess.
Despite their short period of awkward dating(???), they are still close and Belle continues to shower her large friend with all the love she can muster. She cares very deeply for and is oddly defensive of him, always coming to his side when he needs it.
Birg has always thought of Belle as the younger sibling he always wanted. He enjoys the thought of someone looking up to and going up to him for help, even if it's minor. He's usually aware of how Belle feels about things and tries to sympathize and empathize with her whenever he can. He's basically at her beck and call.
In fact, he was fully aware of him being a simple rebound object around Belle's sophomore year but, took it as his only chance to see if anything would work out between them and wanted to help ease her heartache. Though it did more worse than good because now he kind of feels bad for both taking up the offer and wishing it had lasted a bit longer; despite knowing Belle wasn't as happy with him as she was with their other friend, Shashi.
He doesn't let that fog his mind up too much, though. Mostly because he just likes seeing her happy. He values protecting Belle more than trying to romance her than anything else. He did it when they were little and he plans to keep it that way until he feels she doesn't need him anymore.
Non-Awkward-Relationship Wise, Birg uses Belle as sort of an emotional crutch at times because sometimes just being around her and hearing her view on things cheers him up. Compliments and a more sugar-coated statement are a nice break from hearing your best friend having a rather blunt opinion on how you do things.
