I just finished uploading some tickets & vouchers from a species I'm in, and I just realized that for those of you that are subscribed to my images, it's a BIG chunk of my uploads every few months D:

So a new change I'll be implementing for future tickets/vouchers/etc. I'll be uploading them via my species acc NoniiNise !
I know that account is pretty dusty (unused), and it'll be a little bit of a hassle having to log into it for tickets-
but! this may be a chance for me to get into the habit of switching accounts and using my side/specialized accounts more often. :)

TL;DR: people who are big into species (especially semi-CS, CS, ARPGs) expect a lot of ticket/voucher spam, so I'm moving those uploads to my specie acc!

I took a few extra days hiatus because I was just told about a childhood family’s pet passing, and I was cleaning and packing for hours everyday 😭

Lily & Sketti were old old cats (Lily was around 17 iirc) and they were loved and spoiled at my bio mom’s house; so I know they were happy through & through.

Gibbs has been adopted now so I can rest easy knowing he’s warm and safe, and we’ve finally finished packing and moving into our temp place so I can finally rest physically too.

I’m off hiatus for communication and some character stuff (like trade inquiries, questions, etc) but I am definitely still out of the ring for art! My wrist pain was bad enough after the move that I woke up with parts of my hand numb 😖

I’ll be slowly re-introducing art into my daily routine in a week or two, and will be seeing a GP about checking my wrist out since it’s been giving me trouble since December!

 I finished the rough draft/loose sketch for a sketch animatic I was doing on flipaclip (specifically for it's audio syncing)
but light accidental pressure on the apple pen while it was on the couch, and the tip slightly bends. Now it doesn't work.
$100 and incredibly fragile & completely irreparable. One of my last pens got broken at the charger port which,
you guessed it: also can't be repaired.

This ipad is ancient, like 1st generation pro I think; and I absolutely cannot justify $100 on another pen, not even as a gift.
(If someone was willing to spend a hundred on something for me, I'd want it to be gas or groceries, not expensive plastic)
It has some minor flaws/damage but hopefully I'll be able to get $150 for it, so some tech bros can refurbish & upsell it.

Thankfully I have a normal non-screen art tablet, and I found out that krita has free animation tools & audio support!
Unfortunately I'll have to re-train my arm & wrist, and export like 100 frames to import into krita one by one orz
But I'm grateful to have this tablet and that I don't have to put together the animatic in like- windows editor
(which I genuinely would have done if I didn't find out about krita lol)

Expect some more fluctuation in my art style for the next couple months because I tend to draw differently on my laptop,
I'll probably (hopefully) be able to practice and experiment during artfight, but we'll see, I feel so busy.
