For those who aren't aware, I'm a game developer by trade and have been working on a silly animal game for the better part of 5 years.
A major update was released to testers today and we're finally ready to share Reach of the River with the rest of the world (albeit slowly)!

RotR is in a Patreon-only Pre-Alpha phase and is prone to being a buggy mess and performs poorly, but she's MY buggy mess, and I hope you come to love her as much as I do!

If it isn't obvious, I have been absolutely brainrotting over a recently established med-fantasy canine ARPG, Nova Cael, created by the lovely Klechkodav.

Experience and currency can be earned via roleplay, standalone literature, and art pieces! Unlike some ARPGs, Nova Cael is pretty chillax with art requirements, which is so nice when you just wanna doodle ur lil fellas, y'know?

Though the world has years of preestablished lore, the amount of information provided isn't overwhelming and leaves soo much room for players to create their own stories! Staff and members alike give mega chill vibes and have been lovely with putting up with my many, many questions. As someone who has never participated in any freeform ARPGs, it's been very easy to get a foot in the door, and whereas everything is so new, there's plenty of time to get your characters established!

PLUS, there's currently an increased exp event for casual roleplay!
