Like I’ve been in a semi-vocaloid funk recently and I’ve had that song stuck in my head for a while now haha So imagine me giggling when it keeps playing in my head as I read through Tama’s story and like that art of her with the umbrella? I was pointing at the screen and going all “yooooo this matches so well aaaaa” to be fair, I too never checked the English translation of songs until like years later and Juby’s English cover of this is not one of my faves. So I also only recently found out that it’s a love song haahha
Yo man I adore her like she’s so well developed and her relationship with Kaido???? *chefs kiss* just perfection man!!!! It helps that she’s in TeniPuri too, it’s one of my oldest and first ever fandoms and I’m fond of the series so seeing someone put so much love and effort into an oc for it just rings so much fondness from me haha.

GOSH is the hyperfixation thing relatable... that is basically me with Prince of Tennis right now lmao... I actually only got into it recently?? And I got interested in it because I played the otome game first and really liked the characters! Imagine getting into TeniPuri in 2020 because of a dating sim for the Nintendo DS of all things.......... man....... (stares wistfully in the distance...........)
but man it's even better knowing that you were in the TeniPuri fandom!! Actually my hope is to get people in the Prince of Tennis tumblr tag to start to ship Tama and Kaido LMAO.. now you know my darkest secret... there hasn't been much progress so far because I don't have many digital drawings of Tama and Kaido and I feel weird tagging it when it's just Tama (they'd probably be like "who the hell is this rando girl in the tennis boy tag??" lol) but I believe in their dynamic... they will prevail...!!!
Yeah I did and it's super great!!! I actually don't really know anything about Saint's Row (at first I didn't even realize "Playa" literally meant like... the actual player OTL) but it was actually pretty easy to understand the situation and also fun to read! Especially the game-y tidbits. I actually finally thought of a song that could fit Princess! It's Desco by Queen Bee (here's the translation) though idk I was going for something badass but it might be too hardcore? but the lyrics remind me of some of the story elements mentioned in her profile SO... IDK... i'll just leave it here either way gjfknldgndks
Hell yeah hyperfixation buddies //high-five// I mean I can’t blame you, the otome game is really good and wholesome especially for a time wherein it’s really rare to get English translations for most of them (it’s been nearly 15 years and we still don’t have a translation of Doki Doki Survival and I’m sad) Gakuensai is also really great considering the amount of boys you can romance (and to this day, I have only ever finished Rikkaidai lmao it’s been years man)
Also TeniPuri in later years has a much more wholesome fandom and generally accepting of OCs more. 2008-2011 was a really bad time for OCs in that fandom, there was a heck ton of witch hunts and “sporking” of fanfics centering around OCs so I’d say, later is definitely better imo

Yeah I was super surprised at how well made the otome game was! I was really obsessed with it for a while! Really obsessed... I uh... actually did 27 routes...... and I got all the dolls too. So that's 11 more routes to go but I ended up burning out SO... one day I will 100% it...!! I wish it wasn't for the DS because then I could check how many hours I've put into this damn game LOL! But yeah this game has SO MANY BOYS. I remember yelling at all my friends like "THIS GAME HAS 38 ROUTES HOLY SHIT!!!" (and everybody else would go like, "O_O damn that's so many!!") They really said you must be able to romance every single tennis player... well, not even all of them but you get what I mean.
Wow I had no idea about the witch hunts and stuff, that's really awful! It seems like that was a bad time for Canon x OC relationships in general, not even just in TeniPuri... I'm glad it's not like that anymore. I'm slowly getting over my fear of having my own Canon x OC relationship (which, actually being on Toyhouse has helped a lot with that) and knowing that the environment is much better for that makes me feel a lot more comfortable posting content of it.
ALSO I'M GLAD YOU LIKE THE SONG GKJFDLGNSF I know what you mean though...... especially in my case because I wrote something for each song and I'm like this playlist is perfectly balanced I can't add anymore or else it'll ruin the flow of it and then I come across another song that fits or someone suggests a song and I'm like (SWEATS PROFUSELY) LMAOOOOO
