Uh-oh, major hottie alert! Medo's smart, tough, and fun to be around. We're like, total besties, you know? Besties with benefits or something. We solve crimes, explore places, talk about our lives... All sorts of things.
Trucy is such an interesting and lovely lady. Right up my alley, if only she didn’t live in another country!! But we’ve remained good friends. She even got me my current weapon, since the islands has such a derth of good catalysts.
Nadia is a clever child. She works hard at improving herself, which is already more than most of my so called 'students.' Perhaps I can convince her to join my classes more permanently... They would benefit from someone sensible like her.
Madam Elodia has been a great help with Koma. Although I'd wish she'd give Nadia some space, poor girl can find it really hard to deny the Madams requests to become her student. Maybe I should look into finding more old ruins for her to explore? There must be some around she hasn't seen yet and there's definitely a lot I could learn to make dealing with them easier.
Young Taitae is a clever man who is deeply invested in conservation. I am convinced he's been working hard since the second he found out about those 'withering zones.' I wonder if that's his hobby as well... Hm...
He's one of Austice's friends. Kind of a pushover, but he's got a lot of interesting energy to him. You know. God stuff. I'll look into it. I'm more interested in his music. It's good. He has a nice voice, I guess. He reminds me a little of someone in the past. The wind spirit who came to my creator's gathering.
Mister Copia comes over to eat with me and my family sometimes. He used to be a little sad when he came over 'cause his family is bad guys and meanies, but that's silly! He's our family, too, and I told him that. Now he lets me play bank robber with Klover!!!
We've been roommates for a while now. He's a good guy. I like hanging out with him and his music is really nice, even if I'm not sure I get it as much as I should. Wouldn't trade him for anything.
'Nadia is so small and so nice! She has 'books' and she tells me stories from them and even lets me see the pictures. We play card games together, too. I am saving my payment money Mister Taitae gives me for helping with the plants to buy her a card pack!'
Admittedly she was very imposing when we first met, and I was not in a state to appreciate much of what she was doing for me… She’s a madame of the highest power, and the captain and her are very close. I believe that soft spot the captain sits in for her has. Somehow extended to me as well, though I’m unsure when exactly that came about. I cannot always follow what she says, especially when she talks about the tricky matters of business, but what I have noticed the more I spend time with her, is that she is someone who needs to slow down a little and enjoy more simple pleasures in life. I’ve managed to take her out of the city a few times, and she seemed to enjoy it greatly.
He’s a sweet boy. Hokuto’s taken in a number of people who are down on their luck in the past and helped them back on their feet. Austice, though… Hah, he’s something special. He endeared himself to Hokuto right away. As soon as I heard about him I knew I had to take the time to get to know him. What a delight this has been. He’s a refreshing person to spend time around. A ‘breath of fresh air’ if you will. Sometimes, we get up to little adventures together. He was very popular with the kids last time he came around. I saw a number of them blowing on leaves for days after he played them a few notes. Adorable.
Tivar is- ...I like Tivar. He's the sort of person who just- He genuinely wants to help others. That's just who he is. I get that. The only strange thing to me is being one of those others he wants to help.
My darling niece. She is exceptionally talented with the blade and it's so cute seeing her train with Nim. We've managed to work together and find a recipe or two she's able to manage, but, um… I am glad she has such competent servants and friends around her. It makes me feel much better about her general well-being.
An impressive young man who has overcome quite a bit of adversity in his time. He stops by to visit now and then. He always has the most fascinating stories of his adventures. I always enjoy the times when he is in the harbor. Though... there was a certain incident a few years prior... He caused Fanfan quite a fright, getting up that high in his museum... Lantern Festivals really do lead to some remarkable stories.
Master Noemer is a truly impressive and imposing force. He is possibly the most solid and grounded person I’ve ever met. He also listened with interest while I discussed the art of bonsai with the director, which gave me the stark impression of a child at storytime. That image has stuck with me the most I think. He’s a very enjoyable sort, and I always make sure to stop in for a cup of tea when I have some spare time in the harbor, since he really enjoys hearing how other parts of the world are getting along.
Uncle Munchen is, ummmmmmm, pretty cool. My dads never let him babysit me when I was little, haha! Sometimes, he asks me what kids like these days. Ok, Uncle, I'll tell you what the youth thinks is hella rad or something.
Uncle Fan is a pretty rad dude if you're into history and learning! Guess what I'm into!
He gave me bandages one time, so I guess we're fine. He's... fine. I don't mind him that much.
He’s loud and annoying, but he respects Noura so… He keeps calling me weasel. If it were not for Noura’s laws of how to be nice, I would sit in the air and harass him with windstorms until he started crying in frustration.

She's the lady who runs like... the WHOOOLE black market of Sumeru, right? I cannot even imagine how much work that's got to be. If someone out there wants to deal with makin' sure that run smoothly, I don't think I have any right to be harsh on her. Like, if you wanna run the economy, who am I to stop you, ma'am.
Not many people were interested in helping with the watchtowers, especially early on. Dismas, however... He was always willing to listen and ask questions about how to make them a reality. He ended up being the person I trusted the most in regards to them. He put forward so much money to create them and I really can't thank him enough for believing in them. He didn't have to take that risk, but... he did. I really hope I haven't caused too much trouble for him now... Really, the easiest solution would be for him to move more of the credit over to himself. Honestly, he deserves that kind of credit anyways. Perhaps I can pull a few strings, even from here, and start a rumor or two to make that easier...
The original owner of the watchtowers. I’ve helped since their conception, but he is what caused them to exist. The least I can do for him is make SURE they will continue to function.
There's a lot of clever detectives in Inazuma, but Medo stands out above the rest in my mind. Mostly because he's willing to take the extra steps to ensure people are safe and mysteries are solved. He's ready to attack problems from the side as opposed to letting roadblocks stop him. Clever man, Medo. Of course I offered him a place to work when I heard about his hesitations about the police station. To be honest, it's nice having extra company around my office on the days he drops by. I appreciate his insight. Haha, I shouldn't say much more. It could be quite incriminating.
The good commissioner! We met formally through Austice. I managed to worm my way into his good graces and now~ I have somewhere safe other than the station to do paperwork at~ all sneaky like. And Ana can’t do a thing about it! I’m quite grateful honestly, so I give back by plunking a bit of my own brand of intelligence into his network. Seems to be helping quite a bit~!
Oh!! The Madame!! Ilona is great. She’s maybe the closest I’ve seen someone remind me of Scara. Intense barely contained pent up aggression and constantly wanting to prove something. which means a lot of the tactics I use on him also work on her, hah!! No actual duel, but I’ve gotten her to try and kill me a few times and I think that release of lethal intent without hesitation or remorse helped her out more than she wants to admit. She’s been less dismissive of me lately, so I think I’m slowly winning her over!!
Also, playing with her kinda. Helps me miss Scara less.
This weasel. I see him EVERYWHERE in the harbor these days. What is he doing here? Why is he sticking his nose into everyone's business? More to the point, what is his PROBLEM??? I didn't come out to hear pointed comments about how I conduct my business! I didn't come out to have this creature buy the last serving of golden shrimp balls. I did not come out to have him offer me pity snacks after buying the last serving of golden shrimp balls! Why??? What is his problem?!
Master Junichi is a very impressive person. I’m very grateful to him for reaching out and helping me so much when everything suddenly fell apart on me. I feel bad that I never can really repay him properly… I do little things from my position as a part of the crux, but it hardly makes up for the scope. I hope he and his family are doing well.
Austice is remarkably talented when it comes to sword work and standing by his beliefs. It's quite admirable. His family used to be very important in Inazuma, but things have drastically changed these days. It's a shame... In the end, he took a large risk to try and uphold his family's honor. I feel like I would do something similar if it came down to it. Every now and then, when I have a few spare hours, I open up a few books to see if there's some loopholes about banishment. I haven't found anything yet, but perhaps someday...
Roly-poly is so cool!! She gets to wear pretty clothes and set things on fire! One time!! One time, we were playing and a WHOLE HILL exploded. But then, Wa was really sad so I worked really hard to put the dirt back in a pile.
Sword friend! Lots of fun! But sometimes sword friend's dads get upset and make things boring >:(
