Hey all, wanted to apologize for my extended absence this past week! Irl was just a bit busier than usual, I moved but wasn’t able to get help this time so I moved everything all myself including the furniture which took a few more days than I wanted, and after that was stranded for 4 days without internet (spectrum and I have beef but it’s all resolved I think?), now I’ll be able to get back to work 🫡 expect replies and updates this week!!

the new place is also a lot nicer than the last. The bathroom has hot water, which is really nice, and there’s a dishwasher, which is even better. the cats and I have been settling in really well, though I separated Ozzy in my bedroom for the first few days to keep an eye on him. he was all good and acclimated to the new house flawlessly, I’m proud of him

work wise I’m updating trello as I go, I’ve got a few updates to send over today from the emergency comm list but yes! Thank you for your patience!

Just wanted to say I LOVE your art/designs, especially the way you draw fur and the color palettes are so nice!
I’ve got a kinda question if you don’t mind me asking, do you have any tips for me as a newly online again artist trying to sell adopts? I do some on DA usually but typically don’t get a ton of interest, and engagement is pretty slow in general.

for sure the thing that did best for me was posting a lot. A LOT! if you post things like wips, past works, quick doodles, follower interactive posts like polls help too. it will burn you out to please an algorithm, so go at your own pace, but with 700+ followers it gets much easier for your work to be seen. it may also help to start selling on other places than DA, i’ve noticed a lot of interest in toyhouse. i hope this helps a bit, i wish you luck!
