Hey there! i found your account from the eel adopts and I have 2 questions. first, I absolutely LOVE the eel adopts and want to know if you’ll make more? and second, would it be ok if I took some inspiration from them to make my own eel dragon adopts?

I’ve got a kinda question if you don’t mind me asking, do you have any tips for me as a newly online again artist trying to sell adopts? I do some on DA usually but typically don’t get a ton of interest, and engagement is pretty slow in general.

for sure the thing that did best for me was posting a lot. A LOT! if you post things like wips, past works, quick doodles, follower interactive posts like polls help too. it will burn you out to please an algorithm, so go at your own pace, but with 700+ followers it gets much easier for your work to be seen. it may also help to start selling on other places than DA, i’ve noticed a lot of interest in toyhouse. i hope this helps a bit, i wish you luck!

Aaa apologies for my late reply, I just saw this >o< I’ve been really into colors and color theory as long as I can remember. being & learning in nature helps if possible! looking at others’ art has done the most good in deciding which color combinations I like. For example, pink and green is my favorite color combo, and you’ll be able to see SO many variations of that in my body of work at different hues, saturations etc! im sure I’m rambling nonsense this early in the morning, let me know if you’d like clarification on anything!

also try to get a Pantone guide if possible! they’re just expensive (I don’t have one yet :p)

Hi, I love your designs so much!
I wanted to ask. How long do you do holds for? Like for example I get paid every other week on Thursday (Earliest Wednesday, latest Friday.) but I wanted to reach out to see your feelings on that with holds so I can know beforehand what’s okay and what is not okay. ^^
