So you're telling Dallas that you... willingly place a phone call to the facility that holds you illegally underground to experiment on you, asking them to come pick you up? Because it's... easier? Instead of having them come grab you randomly, possibly endangering your friends* in the process? You just... don't even TRY to run away? Please, explain to him how that actually makes any sense.
