1. Main OU

Original Universe!  All oc's in this universe are connected in some way.  They are separated in this folder by the area/setting they come from or are associated with (Some OCs fit into more than one setting, they'll be tagged with both but placed in the folder they fit best with).  OC's without a solid setting or area they can be classified into (they probably live alone or something :'0) will be in this main OU folder, not a subfolder.
Important Tags
Spared- Tagged character died, but bargained with Death for their life, and were therefore Spared.
Prominent- Tagged character is famous or well known in modern and pop culture within the universe.  You'd seem them on TV or online.
Historic- Tagged character is famous or well known in historical contexts within the universe.  You'd read about them in a history book.
Cryptic- Tagged character is either an elusive creature (a crytpid) or the subject of a rumor or myth.  May or may not be true.
