yes!

no!!! I just like fucked up things in fiction, I like complicated stories, and I like complicated dynamics! sometimes, those complicated things are gross in real life! if you don't like that, I urge you to block me!

"Why do you talk about being proship?"
a few reasons; I believe in curating your own space online. this means blocking or muting people or things that make you uncomfortable; if an anti doesn't want to see any proshippers or related content, they can block me when they see the label. vice versa, if a fellow proshipper sees the label, they'll know that I'm safe to interact with and don't have to worry about being blocked for simply enjoying fiction.

"what's a comshipper? how is it different from a proshipper?"
the term comshipper is short for "complex shipper"; I ship problematic things such as abusive dynamics. think of it like this: every square is a rectangle, but not every rectangle is a square. every comshipper is inherently a proshipper, but not every proshipper is a comshipper. not all people aligned with the proship ideology ship problematic things, in fact, most don't and aren't comfortable with problematic content.

"aren't you fetishizing trauma?"
shrugs. I'm a victim myself, and it's well documented that victims of sexual assault, DV, etc. are often aroused or comforted by the portrayal of it in fiction, just as it is documented that it's triggering for others. I don't owe you my story or my trauma to justify the things I consume, you're not my therapist or my family. I'm simply doing the things I enjoy.

"isn't [insert ship] pedophilic/abusive/etc.?"
sure, in real life they'd be awful and horrible. not even from a legal standpoint, but from a moral standpoint, irl abuse in any form is awful and should not be tolerated. fiction, though, is a space to create and explore topics that are otherwise horrible in reality. portrayal of certain subjects, such as abuse, incest, or pedophilia is perfectly alright and often encouraged. though some subjects may not be handled with care by others, it is not an individual's job to try and portray them in a 'proper' light. no matter your moral grounding, it is not your job to control and force someone to stop creating or consuming content you dislike.

"why do you change themes so often?"
