Fishing
There is something so fascinating, as a potential trophy to be held by the mouth of fishermen, to be on the other side of the coin. It's like being a rabbit and attempting to hunt one of its kin, rifle and all- it's...quite the experience, and admittedly very unnatural. To many nauts, especially older ones, this is taboo. But to the newer generation of nauts...
Hey, I'm a human now aren't I? Just because I happen to be a fish it doesn't mean I can't at least try it! It's not weird to me, and it shouldn't be weird to you.
Humans don't bite the bait I cast anyways. Hmph.
Objective: Illustrate or write about what your dreadnaut (or NPC) caught during the fishing event, hopes to catch, or even a fun adventure they went on while fishing. Maybe they went to the docks, or on a boat in the middle of the vast ocean, maybe they even discovered new places on the way there. You never know what will hook on your line. Could it be a fish from the depths? Or perhaps another sea terror by mistake?

With so many combinations of color and variety to choose from, it rewards the senses and may even be a form of escape for some. Fashion doesn’t just define itself in the seams - but also helps express individuality and explore personal tastes. What fashion trends do your dreadnauts take interest in? Are they the refined type, wild and spunky, or do they like to get spontaneous and express themselves in varying ways depending on their mood?
Objective: Illustrate or write about your dreadnauts’ most recent interest in fashion - or lack of it! How do they perceive changing fashion trends as well as the things they like to wear for work, or even just lounging around? What is their perspective of such an overlooked, but critical, component to everyday life? What types of looks do they prefer or avoid altogether? Or, what’s something in their wardrobe they absolutely cannot go without, and what value does it hold to them?

Drawing, or even writing about oneself gives the opportunity to gain vision of how you envision yourself from within, as through the form of art you have control of every word and line. Given this opportunity - how does your dreadnaut view themselves past the social labels casted upon them? If they were to pick up a pencil, how would they express that this is who they are?
Objective: Illustrate or write about how your dreadnaut sees themselves/use their artistic ability. How would they describe themselves? Realistically? Objectively? Would they describes themselves generally? Or would they fantasize about how they see themselves; ex. writing themselves out to be a hero. What's their artistic ability? Can they draw well, how do they see themselves? As a dreadnaut? as something more? Something good or something evil. What's their perception of themselves?

Rational or irrational, there’s just about a fear for anything! The rush of adrenaline, the involuntary reflex to fight or flee- what is it that scares your dreadnaut; what do they fear? How do they respond to their instinctual drive to survive? After all, there ought to be someone else out there who gets the creeps! It’s not like they’re afraid of their own shadow, right?
Objective: Illustrate or write about what your naut fears or is just afraid of, whether its something big, small, physical, or mental.

Acting out borderline nonsensical scenarios, experiencing emotions unfathomable to real life spectators, and most importantly, the thrill of going on your own boundless adventures. There is just so much potential in each naut's character, who wouldn't want to see them in a film?
For this prompt, let's give your naut that right to self expression via redrawing them in a scene of your favorite movie(s)!

MARCH PROMPT
What lies on the ocean shore.
Today is a day like any other, your dreadnaut spontaneously deciding that it was the perfect time to visit the beach. Unbeknownst to them, something peculiar has washed up on the shore. Seagulls circle above and scatter when the unidentified object is approached, your naut curious by nature. It's foreign, yet…familiar. What could it be?
Extended under cut:
The day had started off like any other, if one did not count the bleak skies that colored the world a muted palette. You hope that it will clear, but a part of you felt a sense of relief. After all, what better way to visit the beach in such a state, it's shore barren and devoid of any fear, any judgement, any watchful eyes you might feel scrutinized by. No one would visit the beach on a day like this, no one…normal anyways. Not that you weren't normal, you fit in, just like the rest.
When you arrive, the seagulls sing and call to each other, soaring above in…circles? Your eyes scan the horizon as you approach the shoreline, sight falling upon something peculiar. It's not long since washed ashore, silhouette foreign yet almost familiar to you.
You stand before the object, wondering what it could be, what it once was. What it's purpose could have been, you're not sure. It fills you with an inexplicably cold dread that seeps down into your very core. What is it?
Objective: Illustrate your dreadnaut and the mysterious "object" they've stumbled across on the shore.

Jobs are an essential part of living, and even sea terrors are grateful that some places have already started accepting them as workers. They don't really need it, since they can always survive by going back into the ocean whenever hungry, but they still indulge in the joy of getting a job since it helps them learn how to socialize and earn money. It's a part of their culture to find joy in doing work, though perhaps a few disagree as some end up in dead-end jobs. Sometimes, though- a naut will be able to break the mold and live their ideal human life.
