So a while back, Discord announced that external links to images sent within the app would expire in early 2024, essentially meaning you would no longer be able to host images using Discord. And it seems that they finally made that official, as all my old Discord-linked profile images have been yeeted as of tonight. The expiry addition to the links has been in effect for a while now, it just seems they finally nullified all the old links too.

I went and fixed the missing images for the Cthalia profiles, CYBERSPACE profiles, and my sona, as well as Ikuto and Pira since theyre current fixations. So I guess what im trying to say is if you see images missing from my character profiles, I am fully aware that theyre missing, and I want to preemptively ask that you NOT comment/DM me telling me the images are gone. Ill get to it eventually.

The PSA part is for everyone who wasnt aware this change has happened. DO NOT USE DISCORD TO HOST YOUR IMAGES. Youll need to use a proper image hosting site from here on out. Postimages is the one Cara and I use, its very easy to navigate and doesnt require an account to use.

This is honestly a huge pain in the ass but I can understand Discord's choice in the matter, it was never meant to be an image hosting site to begin with

I like to use that front page of folders to showcase more current story projects (such as Cthalia), and since PMMiM has been finished for a while, I thought it about time to move its folder back ^^;

Members of the COOP's minecraft server have come together to make a MAP of our characters, and it's premiering TONIGHT on my Youtube channel!! Everyone who contributed to the MAP did amazing work, and I'm so proud of the finished product >w< So I wanted to invite you guys in the Toyhouse crowd to come join us for the premiere!

was originally going to wait until my birthday to release this but i figured it might be smart to do it a few days before heheh

incase you didn't see the image upload, i've redesigned/updated my sona once more!! the last update was way back in 2021 so i figured it was time for another overhaul :D i kind of kept similar elements of the old outfit while trying to stagger the black with white, since i've been incorporating a liiiiittle more white into my wardrobe lately (though it's still mainly consumed by black lol). also added more detail to her hairstyle! made it a little curly at the ends instead of just straight since my hair sort of does that

ramble aside, all art of the previous design will be kept in her gallery, same as last time my sona was given an update! however i ask that the old design not be drawn anymore, and to use this design mainly instead ^^ i am planning to do a little wardrobe lineup eventually though with alternate outfits & hairstyles, maybe the grey plaid shirt will make a reappearance then haha

i've added a new character tag to my arsenal... the 'retired' tag! this tag basically notes characters that i no longer have plans to use story-wise, whether its because i've lost connection to the character, cancelled or completed the story/stories they were in, etc. that said this tag will be used VERY sparingly, and only for characters i KNOW will not be used again anytime soon

however, a few things to note about the characters under this tag:

• NONE OF THEM ARE FOR TRADE OR SALE so please do not ask. even though i may not use them much anymore, i still love them all dearly.
• you're still free to draw any of the characters under this tag if you wish!!! they're just not on my preference list, but dont let that stop you
  
• i might find myself drawing a retired character once or twice, but that doesn't mean theyre suddenly becoming active again
• unlike actual real world retirement, if for whatever reason i happen to come up with a new use for the character, the tag may be revoked. i doubt it though as i'm not one to recycle characters lol
  

but yeah!!! just a small organization update from me ig lol. i'm trying to use character tags a little bit more

just wanted to make an announcement for this before people start thinking i may have deleted the heart of gold and scrap metal shells folders.......... i didnt delete them!!! ive just privated both of them, and here's why:

scrap metal shells has been put on the back burner for a long while now because i want it to be a future project. i still plan to do it, but with the way i WANT to do it, it's gonna be who knows how long before i actually feel confident that i CAN do it. since it's not a current focus and im not gonna be making progress on that one for a while, i'm putting that folder on fully private to only me and a select few friends. depending how long it ttakes for me to feel ready to tackle that story, the character designs may end up changing, so as of right now i don't really want anyone drawing those guys ^^;

heart of gold is..... kinda different. truth me told i have no idea what i want to do with that story, so im setting the folder and its characters to authorized only until i figure it out XD authorized people are still free to draw those guys, esp kintsugi since i can't see her design changing much, but im not gonna put it to public again until i can figure that story out some more lol

cyberspace and lucid are gonna stay public since i have a better sense of what i want with those stories

i hope this isnt too much of a disappointment to you all,,,, i know some people were really looking forward to sms in particular, but i think privating some folders will help me feel less pressure to do something with those characters until i'm actually ready ^^; hope you guys understand ahhh

also, new years is almost upon us!!!! my 2022 art summary is up on my tumblr, im not sure if ill be posting it here too but if i do it'll be out within the next couple of days
