During a coven gathering, Blue decides to draw in order to keep their hands busy to minimalize their fidgeting. While taking a brief break they notice that their friend, Diaval, has similar features that they are trying to put onto paper. The older witch takes notice of Blue's staring and becomes curious seeing them draw. When the meeting is over he decides to get to the bottom of just what Blue had been working on.

While looking for clues the group finds themself in a city in the midst of a festival and decides to split up. When the sun sets, minutes before the start of that night's fireworks, the pair allow themselves a moment of mutual vulnerability.
