i do prefer money, theyd be $25 each!! i prefer doing adopts over customs n money over art so im not usually big on doing them for anythjng that isnt money lol. i can take a mixed money/art offer though if ud wanna do sth like $10 + art! tysm!!

i do also offer these themed sketchier batches w more creative freedom at $10 per, but i mostly have creative freedom w those. theyre more useful for when u need a set of background characters for a specific setting or sth. Also an option though :3

omgg this is the first time ive been asked this im so honored. im still very much growing but most of my designs, i usually come up w one or two base themes n try n come up w a way to make them interesting. here's a quirk example w a blueberry themed pony!!
while theres nothing wrong w the first it is a lil plain. i try to add a few colors for interest (pink n green), make the shape language a lot stronger (very round like a blueberry) n overall add more details like the vines, n if i spent a bit longer id prob color the hooves or add patches on the skin. i looked at ur recent designs n honestly im not even sure how helpful my advice will be!!! but maybe itll help a bit. i also have a fav folder where i keep my fav/interesting designs, "." n a pony one where i keep pony designs i like to use for inspo, so u can also check rhose out or make ur own!! references r very helpful to get urbrain going
or if u look at this design ofmine, at first the chara just had plain red n black clothes. but since i felt that was a bit uninteresting i added gold accents n lil butterflies for detailing. i still felt it was a bit plain so i added a rose motif to go w the butterflies!! a lot of designs r just an exercise in going 'what else could i add to this design that wouldnt make it too cluttered' lol

another thing, if its too much to ask LOL what keeps you motivated?? Idk for me I struggle so much just continuing a design and finishing it completely, but Ive seen you make a couple of batches pretty frequently?? (idk I dont keep track that often LOLL)
im honestly just autistic abt character design w a ton of time on my hands lol. i also have a schedule of a batch every friday n a raffle on wednesday n it keeps myself going even when i dont super feel it
i struggle a lot w the motivation to 'finish' designs too!! i used to (and still do) leave them pretty messy. like these ones here. they still sold though!! the trick is to find out what makes it hard for u n work around that. i haate doing clean lineart, so instead i do a clean sketch, color under n then render over. u get better at this over time too!! 6 mediocre, messy designs r better than none at all, n chances r ull end up liking at least one of those 6
