Supernormal
Supernormal is the collective name for an alternate timeline of Earth that takes place in the early to mid 2000's and all the stories set in it. Humans discovered the presence of a parallel world, known simply as the Afterlife. Through the use of a substance known as Ectoplasm, scientists accidentally created mutants known collectively as Winebloods, named for their deep, red-purple colored blood. These mutants didn't take to kindly to being labrats and rebelled, kicking off a long and bloody war that permanently changed the world as a whole and tore holes between Earth and the Afterlife.
Now, humanity lives in Safezones, places where the barrier between Earth and the spirit world is the strongest. Outside of these cities is a no man's land, known simply as The Wilderness. Full of the abandoned remnants of a once bustling world and dangerous ghosts that have slipped through the cracks.
- Though Supernormal is the primary story, there are plenty of other stories to tell that both take place after the main story and run alongside it. As such many of the characters here may belong to side projects and other personal stories.
- Heavily inspired by the roadtrip vibes of FFXV, alongside games like OFF and Earthbound.

Welcome to the Pacific Northwest, year 200X. The Crimson War has been over for 20 years, and while tensions between the Humans and Mutants are still high things are looking up. Efforts are being made to attempt to clean up the Wilderness and expand the Safezones in the Americas, and as a result experimental campgrounds and parks have been opened just outside the bubbles of safety. Shady Pines Point is one of these places, and you have been hired as part of their staff as a summer job.
