“What, you want to be alone on Valentine’s?”
Isaac reached his hands to smooth out the fabric he was creating, “Isn’t it just a date in the calendar?”
Now it was Zepar’s turn to turn introspective. He hummed, thinking in over, then glancing out the window and thinking about that stranger he had been looking out for a while.
“I mean, it’s what it represents, right?” After having been hovering around his workstation for a bit, Zepar finally sat down, propping his elbows onto the table. “Like a confirmation of interest, or a small sign or love or whatever.”

“I wanna bring date night back,” he had said, choosing a spot for himself on the couch. “I already did the cabinets and half the dishes, so that should be good enough for now, right?”
“We said we’d do spring cleaning though,” Adina gestured to the floor of the room, an organized mess of a half folded carpet and furniture pushed away to make way for her sweeping. “I need time to finish this. The floor isn’t gonna clean itself.”

“Later?” As soon as Aether was in front of the knight, he let the small pile of armor fall onto his feet. If Hartman’s reflexes hadn’t acted as fast, his foot might have been victim to the metal falling onto it. He shrieked, while Aether barked out: “You’re being so inconsiderate!”
“You’re being dramatic,” Hartman replied with a sigh. He reached down to grab one of the armor pieces, his arm exposed for a second. “Look, I didn’t think you’d be here this early in the morning. Why are you–”
That’s when Aether saw it: a wound.
And then, it happened: a poster on the wall caught her eye as she was walking into the room: “Flaming heart challenge: spiciest noodles in town— everyone who wins gets a special prize!”
She could not pass the opportunity up.
