Nebulae are humanoid galactic beings formulated out of different universes. They are materialized out of stars and the souls of every human, animal, plant, etc that are currently living in that galaxy.  The role of a nebulae is similar to that of a deity, watching and overseeing daily operations of the world beneath them. That being said, each nebulae is free to do what they wish with their universe, be it moral or immoral. 

 

The Nebulae species are composed of space matter and life energy. Because of so much of this energy is being contained in one small form, Nebulae typically appear younger than a standard human at the adult age. Galaxies live for a long time so the common age for Nebulae could range from a few hundred years to a few million. As far as physical appearances go, Nebulae's physical properties range widely in height and body type. They can have multiple eyes, limbs, etc but still remain in their otherwise humanoid form. 

A Nebula's most distinctive traits are their spirit rings, ears, ornate jewelry, and their complexion that ranges in color. The color of their hair, skin, clothes etc changes depending on the representative galaxy. 

 

 

 

Nebulae are able to be seen by humans, but they have the ability to make themselves visible upon their own will. They are also able to mate and reproduce with humans, but it's not exactly a priority among Nebulae to reproduce. If anything, sex would be something done out of pleasure. It's a similar idea with food; Nebulae don't benefit from eating food, instead gaining their nutrition from resonating human souls. 

 

There is somewhat of a hierarchy among the Nebulae, and it is based on an elder-dominating system. The older the nebula, the more authority they have. It is an elder's duty to encourage younger nebulae to nurture their world. The relationship between an older nebula and a younger nebula could be that of an older and younger sibling. However this traditional upbringing method does cause a few nebulae to go astray and lead their kingdoms into depravity.

 

Many Nebulae are prideful and believe in keeping a respectable reputation and prefer their citizens to look up to them. Though Nebulae can choose to have zero interaction with humans, they can also prove as some form of guidance and direction.
