Anisah found Neshi in the forest when she was younger and looking for food for the former inn owner. Feeling sorry for him, she took him in and fed him a warm meal, but didn't know that one meal would be what had saved him from a life of poverty and an early death.
The two grew up together from a very young age, and despite the fact that Neshi had a very crude and intense personality, Anisah was the only one who was able to calm him down quickly enough. She finds his vulnerable front around her to be endearing, but knows that he is capable of getting into some serious trouble on his own.
She worries about him and loves him deeply, but knows that even she can't suppress his aggressive nature forever. She hopes that some day he could find some inner peace. She can't tell if he's ever happy, but tries her best to at least make sure living every day isn't painful for him.
Her gentle personality compared to his rough one brings them together but also keeps them apart.
Neshi grew up in an abusive family and ended up running away, but was not able to sustain himself with his inexperienced hunting. Anisah found him sleeping and nearly dying of starvation while she was running an errand.
He was very skeptical of her when they first met, and found her unconditional kindness to be irritating. When they were young, he often threatened to devour her, but deep down he was puzzled as to why she was so kind to him.
With her being the first and only person to show him sincerity, he became incredibly territorial and protective of her. Though he never admitted it out loud in front of others, he cares for her deeply. If anyone were to cross her, they often found themselves severely hurt by the end of the day.
He also enjoys teasing her, and it's not impossible that the two have had some intimate encounters. He often makes crude comments regarding her assets, but makes it clear that he's (mostly) playing around. He views her almost like a sibling, but not quite. Now that she runs the inn they were both adopted into, he makes frequent stops, but never stays too long as remaining in one place for a long time irritates his free spirit.
Acts super flirtatious around her. Can sometimes make offhanded-perverted comments (He gets scolded about it later), but genuinely adores Shiri.
Likes his butt. A lot. She finds him easier to deal with when he's not acting like a total womanizer. Despite this she finds his confidence and positive attitude to be charming.
To say the least Neo is annoyed with Hae-Jin's uppity and flashy personality. He doesn't really get why he loves attention so much, and finds him to be an annoying person, often referring to him as a nuisance. Despite all this he finds himself always involved with him.
