It's important to know that Eskall fully loves Chernobyl, to the point where when she thinks of the future, she thinks that Cher will be living with her and Ashbie.
Despite where they found her, Eskall believes Cher is a strong, smart young adult who can genuinely make a change in the world, and do what she couldn't when she was a paladin. She just doesn't understand the dogged attachment to Helm and her past when there's new, better memories that can be made in the future. The irrational part of her wants her to move on, but she understands that Cher needs closure, and honestly, she wishes it for her.
If only she didn't tell her she wasn't her daughter when she was nearly dead. Oh well!
Chernobyl and Eskall’s relationship is very rocky these days. They genuinely love her, and want her to be happy and put herself first, and they know that, on some level, she cares about them. They see her as a naturally gentle person who’s been through a lot, and at the beginning, they idolized her, especially with her being their only example on how a Paladin is supposed to behave. On the other hand, they’ve experienced immense trauma alongside her and have watched her fall into a depressive spiral. They’re afraid of the person she’s becoming, and they’ve lost trust in her after she manipulated them to get away from Holly and Harris. Despite everything, Eskall was the first to talk to them with kindness, and is the most important person to them. Chernobyl feels guilty about it, but they miss who she was in Rainholm.
Eskall adores her wife. What more can be said?
Perhaps the fact that Ashbie constantly makes her life worth living, that she gives purpose and brings a light to the darkness that Eskall has never had anyone do. Ashbie quite literally changed her life and the trajectory of who she was becoming, and Eskall won't ever forget that. She wants to make every day worth it for Ashbie, and show her how much she loves and appreciates her and how beautiful she makes the world. Even if that includes just sitting on the couch holding her yarn and telling her she loves her.
Ciern has a soft spot for Harris. She's a funny kid with a penchant for trying to show others just how strong she is, and for someone who's spent the last few years duking it out in pits, her lightheartedness is much appreciated.
He was assigned to her first year to help her around campus, but they ended up sticking around each other.

Eskall has lots of feelings about Harris like she does the rest of the party. She's maintained the sense of mentor and apprentice, but it's become more familial. She wants to give Harris a taste of what it's like to not have shitty parents and actively engage her in her interests, as well as teach her about practical things instead of stuffy shit like image and business.
She currently knows exactly why she as a wolfborn acts so human, and is heartbroken to know that her family probably hammered in the "you're a monster" thing.
Her relationship between her sister too has gotten to be more of a concern than an annoyance, and she feels there's a lot of tension to work out that neither have the patience to work on. But thankfully at least they're ok with her stepping in, so oh well.
[4/12/24] Harris' feelings toward Eskall are extremely complicated, much like her feelings about anything at all. In some ways, she respects Eskall for her leadership abilities and her drive to protect those she cares about. Despite never stating it, and the fact she likely never will, she enjoys Eskall's familiarity and lack of judgement toward her. On the other hand, Harris combats her own feelings very aggressively, and as such she often finds herself angry or resentful toward Eskall due to the parts of herself she sees in her. Rather than taking it as an opportunity to talk to someone that can sympathize with her, Harris instead chooses to judge Eskall as hard as she judges herself, while still holding onto the idea that they're different. A part of her likes starting issues with Eskall, which she subconsciously feels is a way of getting back at herself.
"wow i cant NOT kiss her?"
holly doesn't know if its her or the mania talking but she'd kiss this girl to the end of time
"heyy girly ;)"
Holly likes to kiss Thea, but also just likes to hang out with her and get into shit. She thinks shes a solid person and really fuckin' cute.
Cousin! You're awesome, I'm so excited you decided to join Beacon, I can't wait to see your DTV, you're really creative, so I bet it's really unique and cool.
"insufferable and so fun to hang out with. little nerd"
One of the first weirdos Holly picked up when arriving in town. She's annoyed by his veganism, but loves to rag on him for it <3
"I hate her." he doesn't, at all.
"That's my wife :-)"
Aiden is forever and always entranced by the wacky shit Cozy is always up to. From her fashion to her decisions in life, she's a mystery to Aiden, and all he wants to do is see that under a microscope. She's leagues above Aiden, and yet she still chooses to love him despite his many flaws. They're the perfect weird couple.
Bianca & Thea had a date that went... Ok. They learned they definitely shouldn't date, but also that they made great friends!
"Heyyyy ;-)"
She likes their guinea pigs. No that's not a euphamism.
"helllooooo :)" they made a lyre inspired by their encounter.
"My dumbass triplet. Love this dude."
1/3 of the triplet trio, Acacia is regarded as the go-to partner in crime whenever she wants to get into shit.
